Re: post 7601
Agreed that Skrbec has a chance, but several others do also. As far as goaltending goes, I heard a rumor that Tim How redshirted and will be eligible next season. If that's true, another trip to the X is a given. Yeah, except he played against Cloquet and the last minute against Roseau, what a stup...

Next years team should be very competitve. Three to four balanced lines. It might be a good thing to not have two or three studs carry the load. The boys need to work hard this summer and put some size and strength on. The goaltending is questionable but both were pretty consistent for the JV the l...

Watch out for Cloquet and Duluth East. 8) Grand Rapids, back to back section champions. Okay, why should they look out for East and CEC. No Ben Leis, No Reid Ellingson, No Tyler Johnson. They might as well cancel the 7AA playoffs and write in Grand Rapids on the state bracket. No Pat White. ...

Re: post 7202
Why? I saw the replay on TV and a Grand Rapids player lowered his head and smashed into Ellingson, therefore preventing him from beign able to play the puck. Watch closely. #21 in orange is swinging at the puck to try to bat in the rebound. That is why his head was down. Good play, good goal. Yes, ...

Missed the game live, was at my son's Bantam A Regional in Virginia, but just had the privelege to watch the game on tape. GR looked to be the hungrier team, and also the more poised club. The way they're playing right now should bring some hope to the northland for some more hardware. Didn't care ...

Re: Most Physical Team
Erik Sandberg of Delano is the best hitter in High School hockey Steijskal (sorry Joe I can't spell buddy) is a man among boys out there. Lundquist is a force as well. But, who really cares about individuals? Physical will win because of the fact it will throw little speedy guys off their game if t...

Yes I have. When? Think he could start at other schools? Think he's good? I've seen him play on numerous occassions, of course theirs schools he could start at. But you could say that abour Rapids, Moorhead, Duluth East, Brainerd...you can say that about many goalies...Hibbing as well. Not East, Le...

Great Game.... very clean...lots of hits... The game eneded in a 2-2 tie..... GR had ice time left.... it was more of a joke then anything..... Elk River had 4 games in 36 hours....weak legs vs strong legs....give both teams credit... I bet the Elk River team wasn't laughing after they lost in the ...

7AA fans...still think your section is better than 3AA?? Our #5 seed just destroyed one of your top seeds. No doubt 3AA is the state's toughest section this year. Still not getting your point. Every team has an off night. When you don't have enough players to field a JV game (like what happened tod...

If CEC loses to Brainerd, they're still the #2 seed. End of story. If CEC loses to Brainerd they don't deserve to be in the top 2, END OF STORY!!!!! GR 2 CEC 0 END OF DISCUSSION, GO HOME! No offense or anything, but you are a dumbass. Closer game now because of Stillwater's romping on Cloquet. 4-3 ...
