Losing 12-1 and 9-1? The south needs to become just a little more competive, because these type of blowouts do hurt class A. On the other hand, Alex's record was 1-7 down at the tournament, and now they're State Champs. Although, with that 1-7 record, I don't believe Alex ever got blown out of a game.

Congrat's to Alex. I was pulling for Roseau in the semi's, but now I don't believe Roseau could of beat Breck in the finals, because it took an outstanding goalie to beat Breck, and Alex has that. She was stellar! Nice to see a north team win it. Too bad GRG couldn't of pulled it off, also.

This one's a flip of the coin. Roseau is prone to penalties. They need to stay out of the sin bin.

It's too bad Alex and Section 8 are in the same bracket. Would be sweet to see an all northern team championship game.

It's now definately apparent that EGF was ranked way to high this year in the polls. 0-6 against the Big Three and never made it out of the quarter finals.......

Please do not get me started. Not so sure about Crookston? why in hell not? oh ya, because you are FROM crookston. haha ridiculous. I have full confidence that they could beat ANY team that comes out of section 8A. They played Grand rapids closer than any team in Section 8A. Tied Roseau. Beat Breck...

Alex. has a really nice team. I'm predicting a 3rd place finish for them at state, just because I don't think they can get by the Section 8 team in the semi's. They could/would probably beat Roseau, but not so sure about Warroad or Crookston. Good luck Cards.

Hard fought game. Could of went either way. C-town outshot Warroad 27-20. C-town had a 6 on 4 last 55 seconds. Peppered Warroad good, but Piper stood tall.

By the looks of how things will play out, it may give Roseau home advantage for the section championship. Good chance you'll see the Warriors and the Rams battle this one out this year. Crookston is struggling and EGF remains a middle of the road team. All 3 teams are good enough to make it to stat...
