roseau/warroad
I would say that Roseau will win because they have more talent. Both coaching staffs are way below average so neither get a plus there. Roseau 5 Warroad 3 - As far as winning 8 in a row my comment would be is who were the 8.

EGF rules and will destroy all other competition in the section. I say that they will not loose another section game. They dominated Warroad and I don't believe anyone else can compete with them. Park Rapids was a fluke.

egf
As I said EGF would dominate and they did. Warroad was lucky to get out of here with a tie. The refs refused to call the penalties on Warroad and because of this it ended in a tie. Like I said before both Denny and Albert are in over their head - they let this one slip away. As far as your comments ...

I believe EGF will win 4-2 - Warroad is starting to fall apart and you are now seeing that Albert & Denny can not handle things. EGF will win in a walk at home

I believe you are right war hok for anyone open enrolling - but if he moved to Thief River Falls with a parent I believe he would be eligible right away. If I am not mistaken a kid from Bloomington transfered to Elk River in Mid season and was eligible right away about 3-4 years ago. We may be talki...

Goldsmith
I have no idea if it is true or not but I could see a goaltender wanting to play in front of all that offense. I have no idea how good Cambridge will be but I do know Theif River Falls will be very strong.

I am currently going to summer school at Duluth and took in the games over the weekend. TRF was clearly the best team as they were the week before in Grand Rapids. I know on Sunday TRF only had 13 skaters dressed so people will see a bunch of ice. I know TRF was missing 2 of their top 5 d and 5 of t...

class A
I will use section 8 as an example. For the last 3-4 years section 8A has been much stronger then 8AA. The #2 seed in 8AA would have been a 4 or 5 seed in 8A. Also the top teams in 8A have been competitive with Moorhead - This year Warroad and Moorhead tied and I believe egf and moorhead was a 3 goa...

What are you smoking old school? In the last 4 years Warroad,Roseau and Thief River Falls have done very well in the PeeWee and Bantam Regional. If you take Moorhead out of district 15 you end up with not much at all over the past 4 years with the exception of Alex every now and then. From top to bo...

depth
There is no doubt that depth caused Warroad a chance to compete for the State championship. They lost their 5th defenseman before the section tournament and played with only 4 after that. In fact most of the state tournament played with three because of penalties. Also they never gave the 4th line a...

You should probably learn to spell before you post. Warroad and LOW will loose about the same number of people- LOW a few more. But with both of them having very average JV teams and very poor Bantam teams depth will be a big issue to both. Depth killed Warroad in the State tournament this year and ...

I heard rumblings at the advance 16 and 17 final 51's that the Clark family from L.O.W. will be moving to Thief River Falls before next season. I also heard that Donovan Haugstad is giving strong consideration to playing in Thief River Falls next year. If these rumors are true Thief River Falls will...

Your statement about Tyler Aandal may be one of the dumbest statements I have ever seen on this board. First off he is not even a bantam yet. I have never seen him play but I have a hard time believing that he would compare to Michael Benedict and Cory Horien from Thief River Falls. From my sources ...

To be honest i saw this coming from the section semi-final. I thought Thief River Falls put a dent in Warroads dreams and then LOW almost put an end to them. Bottem line is what i thought in the beginning of the year was Warroads strength turned out to be their biggest weakness. Their defensemen are...

I have watched both of the semi-final games and come away with the following thoughts.
Warroad/TRF game - I thought TRF had a great game plan adn executed it to "almost" perfection. Coach Eades and the Warriors were no doubt nervous. TRF should be commended for the effort they gave.
...

I to have seen 4 games at the new engelstad arena. It is without a doubt the third nicest facility in the state of Minnesota behind the excel and the U of M facility. I have seen the EGF game-sellout, The Warroad game 1800 people, the Roseau game 1700-1800 people and the Moorhead game-1300 people. O...
