Want to give alot of credit to Century goalie, Liz Maidl on her 86 saves tonight!! Loss to Lakeville South, I believe 5-0. Also, Mayo lost to Lakeville North 3-2, was that a conference game?

Ok, what if the legislature puts a halt to the new mshsl ruling...how does that affect Rochester schools, where atheletes choosing to OE have been required to sit a year (unless the family moves). I would assume that would change the situation down here too, which has lived by this for years.

IMO there are many here in Roch. From Century, sophomore goalie Liz Maidl, it's nothing for her to face over 70 shots per game, but usually holds the opponent to single digit scoring. From Mayo, besides the knowns, like senior F Allie Harwood, Katie Psimos & Britt Erikson, there is jr. F Stevie ...

Michelle Bonapace the Rochester JM/Lourdes goalie is very solid. She keeps many of the games tight. Will be a returner to CODP.

Our team does a variety of events aside from hockey. Our coaches believe in not only commitment to the sport/team, but also in civic responsibility. Therefore we have done bell ringing, rotate in pairs to assist at youth hockey practices & worked at Ronald McDonald House, just to name a few. The...

JM vs. Farmington game. Farmington dominated P1 (25 SOG), but a young JM team made surprising adjustments P2 & P3. JM freshman goalie (Bonapace) should be fun to watch. Held up well with total of 46 SOG & successfully stopping 43. Many penalties under new Standards of Play. Perhaps over 20 t...

2 teams backed out of the JM schedule. Both claim miscommunication between their coaches & ADs. That left a void in which is coach is hoping to fill, but no luck so far.

Rochester Youth Hockey is dropping it's U14 program due to lack of numbers. I suspect this is fall out from JM & Century needing to recruit from the youth program to keep the high school programs at these 2 schools viable with the split. Imagine Mayo will have a large team as a result. Could thi...

It was just announced today that Century High School officially has enough girls registered to play. They did an early sign up with 17 girls going out for the team. JM/L is also doing an early registeration.
Good news for Rochester.

[quote]I didn't see the postings of the district site unless I have the wrong site...[quote] You are right, those postings are no longer on the district website. Hopefully that's good news. If so, I hope an announcement is made soon so these teams can go on with the leadership of coaches instead of ...

teams in rochester

The coaching positions are posted on the district website. One coach & one assist for Jm & ditto for Century. From what I understand there have been applications received for both teams. I don't believe the JM boys coach is posted any longer. JM/Lourdes girls are holding a parent/player mtg ...
