Yeah Peterson is a very good player no doubt, Voigt plays hard in his own end, doesn't take any shifts off, he's one of the hardest working guys you'll find and makes others on his line that much better because his hard work in getting it out of the zone for them.

DENIED, it was a fairly even from what I saw, and Richfield wasn't up most of the game I don't think. Actually Century was playing with freshman defense most of the time and didn't think they did too bad considering the lack of experience there. Just beware when playing Eagan in Eagan, your penalty ...

Good point Nut, Faupel is doing what he needs to do since Knoepke and Grimstad have always been very good pinpoint passers around the net, it's all working out well for them. He doesn't create much but gets to the net exactly when he needs too. Arens is a very good player, those two should work out ...

Let me guess hm88, you haven't seen Century play all year right? No one on the team 'had the game of their lives' other the #7, they all played like they're capable of most of the year, no surprises here 8)

SEMinnHockeyNut, the point earlier was Century loses everything, Mayo loses almost nothing, so Mayo will dominate Century next year... Gimme a break. Granted Alexander is good as well, but Mayo has no one that Century can't match up against evenly next year. You bring up some up and comming promisin...

dumb, your arguement would hold more water if the quality of the competetion was the same between them. Century's non-conference schedule was MUCH tougher than any other Rochester team this year.

Rochester

Keep in mind jackstraw, Rochester North was coached by one of the very board members we speak about, in fact he was the President elect...without naming names, he has for years put his very average 'center' kid on every shift of every game with the best 1-2 players on the team, it was part of the re...

Rochester

Sioux Fan, its been discussed before, most people I think would agree that Rochester is making a big mistake. The problem is the board is currently occupied by parents who's sons juuust so happen to be moving from PeeWee to Bantam, aaand those same board members are the coaches. Slash and burn menta...

Rochester

At the A level, generally speaking there are North and South teams, both of which play under the same organization however, RYHA. More often than not, at tournaments, the organizers don't know or bother to make a distinction, so you'll often just see 'Rochester' in the brackets/pools, even though th...

Understand that the mentaility of certain folks with power to decide only, and I mean only, care about their kid being on a top team without the mess of having to try out and actually make it, and also of having to muddy the talent pool by having 2 equal teams. No, there must be only 1 top team for ...

Rochester Bantam's 06-07

It is entirely consistent with the group of coaches and board members kids moving up to Bantams from PeeWee, so I can believe it sure. Slash and burn 'for my kid' who would be lucky to otherwise make the team is the mentality unfortunatly until this crop of board 'members' moves on...

Roch

SEMetro yes you have it right, I never heard it termed that way but it is a good one, Rochester is 'rainbowed' unfortunately. The board has repeatedly said the organization is not a funnel for the HS programs, and based on the current board makeup you are exactly correct. It is so the coaches (many ...

Re: Why not two A teams ?

The never ending arguments between those that want all the best players playing at the top level, and those that just want their kid to be on the best possible team. I know for Rochester, the parents that want to have a top A and bottom A (vs an even split) won out since they've taken over the board...
