Re: WBL VFW State Champs!

Well much like the team you are associated belongs to a governing body that hosts a state tournament to determine the champion of its membership (you know this as Minnesota Hockey).

The VFW hosts a state tournament championship that determines the champion of their group as well. Re: WBL VFW State Champs!

Ask those State Champion Centennial Cougars if they would have liked to play in that tournament? I promise you they are bitter for not being there.

Too bad

Quote:
Psh, who cares. VFW means close to nothing. Re: redistristering

I like the idea of going to 8 districts because it makes it so everyone has a chance to play for a trip to the state tourney in the end. Granted some districts would be large and still require some driving, but thats kind of the way it is when you live up north isn't it? I don't like the fact either...

VFW Districts, Who's the Favorite to Win Each District

I know Duluth East won District 8 and they will play the host team, which is I assume Thief River Falls. I think I saw somewhere that Roseau won the District 9 spot. Anyone have any further information?

Centennial and WBL can beat Edina

I think this region is the worst thing that could happen to Edina. They have to beat two very good teams to get to the State tournament. White Bear and Centennial can both beat Edina. What would it look like if Edina was out of the picture?

Think it could happen?

Elliot,

Does the redistricting have to effect all levels of play?

I'm asking because you take D11 for example at the the Bantam A level, you have four teams competing for a district title, and two of them get to move on to the region tournament. Don't punish associations for numbers

I disagree that you should split an association because they have over 100 kids trying out.

The problem begins well before the bantam and peewee level. It begins at the Mite and Squirt level.
