Question 2. I don’t have a clue, so I can’t add an opinion. Question 1 is a great question, I just don’t know if there is a right answer. I think may be a matter of perspective, from the owner of program, coaches, player, parent of a child going through this for the first time and parent of a child ...

It would be nice to scrimmage the blades brick and or blades team. We scrimmage a couple times last year and it was very competitive for both teams. 2 tied games. With the brick coming up fast I’m not sure it will get scheduled. It would be fun for both squads; not for the sake of saying one is bett...

Fair enough for the 00s. Orange and Blades followed closely by Edge, then Iceman and then Black. Hopefully all these teams are in the Caribou and we can see how it shakes out this year. Maybe Black (Torspo) has another stellar performance in the Caribou this year too.

I’m thinking you could have the top five 00s, but that order could change slightly. It’s the Orange on top with the Edge not too far behind. Machine Black teams pulls 3 Orange for most tourneys, so they could slide down that list if they are on their own. The question I wonder is: What happened to o...

That is the issue; you shouldn’t have to choose just one. It has nothing to do with association hockey being bad. We can have choices and it can be for many different reasons why you would play in the Choice, Association or both. MN hockey D6 should not have mandated you can only play in one and not...

Anti-0, you sure seem to be preoccupied with the orange color. I’d predict Edge 00 wins that tourney even if one of the colors is Mud.

Let’s put a stripe on the helmet for those players that are too big and bright yellow jerseys on the players you can’t check at all. Some issues are black and white and we should not have to change or compromise on checking. Hockey = fast = physical = checking = fun. I loved playing hockey as a peew...

Three Machine 01 boys were in the squirt choice league last year. There also were some Machine girls players 01,00,99, Machine 02 boy players, some Torspo (Machine Black)00&01s, a few Fire 00, Iceman 00 and Snipers 01,00,99. A couple of the best players (99s) I have no idea what AAA programs or ...

I found some humor in it too, just maybe not call out any particular location. My 5’2”, 115 lb Mite didn’t get his size from me. One must think of these things early on or just desire tall woman.

This I hope will be my last post on the subject. Question was asked if he is worth the money. I feel most will think yes and maybe a few no. For me it is more about being age appropriate and knowing his style. Maybe also how well your players coping skills are. I shared my story. I don’t doubt his a...

Yes my emotions at the time were heightened to say the least and it would not have been a good idea to engage the instructor after the day’s clinic ended, but I did. I had no previous experience with Yuro. I could have gone to my association and maybe asked for a refund and that we would not be part...

This was my experience with Yuro. He is a great skater and loud talker and very intense. He runs complex drills, but he can seem demeaning to a player if they mess up or the players don’t do the drill the way he wants. Now if you have a Mite aged boy, you may think twice about skating in a clinic wi...

I am a Machine 01 parent. We did have a team meeting and this was one of the topics brought up. We are all onboard with the decision not to participate in the Brick tournament. So now you know if you didn’t already. I will not go into details or reasoning, but I’m sure you can think of some on your ...
