Edina won 4 tourney's over Thanksgiving weekend. Two of them over Andover, one over Mpls Storm, and a fourth over some other random school that can't beat Edina either.

If you look at the 95`s and 96`s you see playing now, they are usually the best on the ice and have alot of opportunities because of the developement they recieved when playing for the machine. Alot of parents see this and understand that The Brick is a great tourney but the bigger picture has alot...

I am not kidding, buy NHL 2k11. The best guess I have is that is showed my kids a different view of the ice, but no joke ... it seemed to help their "hockey sense." I know for a fact it did teach them the value of moving the puck. Plus it's fun seeing their name on the back of a Bruins swe...

the rather recent (6-8 years ago) building of both St Francis and Andover HS affected all of the programs in the area, all of the way up to Elk River.

These programs now have the neccessary Varsity coach leadership, and both programs seem to have what it takes to continue to grow.

nope .. can't agree with this in the least bit. I'd suggest adding in a Midget level between Pee Wee and Bantam to minimize physical advantages rather than this. If any of you watch as much hockey as I do in your local rink, physical play is what MANY (NOT ALL) kids enjoy about it. And no, I am not...
