Ok, i iwill bite. I think the 2001 Machine deserve a higher ranking. IMO they are more dominant than any 02 team is. Just my two cents

Miracle Gold is in the 02 Elite of the Shuffle. Interestingly enough, so is the Blades, however i noticed they are also entered into the Meltdown tournament which is the same weekend. Possibly its the 03 playing up in the 02 division but i think there is a Blades team entered in the 03 age group as ...

The Machine are a very strong team. Not sure how they compare to the Blades or Magicians etc. Obviously the Machine are in the hunt if they can beat the Bauer Selects.

Looks like good representation in Chicago

The ChiTown Shuffle is coming up in Mid April and Minnesota has good representation in all age groups. The Machine have teams in all age groups from 1997-2002. The Blades have teams in 1998-2000 age groups. Manitoba, St Louis, California and Chicago also have good representation. All divisions seem ...

It seems like organizations are starting to build for the Brick at an earlier age. I have noticed many teams across NA that are gearing up for this tournament a few years in advance. Naturally these teams will see a lot of changes between inception and tournament time. Its almost like the popularity...

Re: Broken Link above, but ...

Hats off to the Icemen organization in only year 2 of this tournament. Check out ALL of the online results at http://icemen.pucksystems.com/page/show/218780-tournament-standings . There is not another tournament in North America, in-season OR out that delivers this level of up to date results AND s...

Sorry, I should have elaborated. I wasn't referring to individuals on a team, I was meaning a team of girls vs a team of boys in the body contact age.

I don' t have a problem with girls playing with boys but I will say that boys will play against girls differently than they do boys! No ifs ands or buts about it, they will not play as aggressively against girls.

I think a case can be made for both non parent and parent head coaches. I have been both a non parent and parent head coach and I think it all comes down to how you treat the team. My child knows that when we get to the rink I talk to him as his coach, not his father. I am no harder on him than othe...

LoL, huh duh! Sorry, I didn't catch anything you provided after you released your inner 12 year old girl. LoL, thats kind of how I felt when I read the line If dads want to rank teams made up of 8 year old, they can go right ahead. Just know that those "rankings" will change quite a bit i...

I realize the Blades and Machine rivalry is like the Yankees and Red Sox, but let's remember that these skaters don't make $10mill/year, they don't have commercial endorsements, and they aren't on the cover of sports magazines. They don't deserve your ire; they don't deserve to have expectations bu...

This thread cracks me up. We have posts on here saying....i think its silly to rank them now because when they are older it will change! LoL, huh duh! Some people think that the older age hockey is the only hockey that matters because thats when they are closer to becoming a professional player! I t...

Re: top 2001 aaa team

Monopoly 2001 team is very solid. Won the Meltdown. Took second in the International cup. Half the team is made up of 2002's which makes it even more impressive. Can we keep the soccer mom mentality out of hockey? How stupid to say, why do we rank them..they're nine. Well then, why do we keep score...

I like what you said. It is up to us parents to choose who we want and who we respect. Its completely unacceptable for a coach to ignore upset or questioning parents. If you sign up to coach, then you do HAVE to deal with personalities and kids and egos and anger. It comes with the territory. If a ...

Coachman, You swore more in a single post than any other poster on this Board. This is a YOUTH hockey forum. There are young lads who visit this Board and you aren't exactly a great role model. I hope you don't use this language on the bench or in the locker room, especially if you're coaching youn...
