really?

Here we go again. Same old same old. Blast me for this, don't care. They need to develop Tier 1 AAA and put Blades Machine and Icemen in there so the the rest of the kids can play in summer games and learn.

I been silent so long now it's gonna roar out of me like floodwaters and you think the guy telling this is ranting and raving my God; you think this is too horrible to have really happened, this is too awful to be the truth! But, please. It's still hard for me to have a clear mind thinking on it. Bu...

What would you think if you heard a coach punished his team because 4 kids gave each other a high five after they won a championship?
Terrible of course. Too many coaches are getting too serious with these kids. Reading all of these posts (also posts on other threads) and hearing about all t...
There was no physical altercation. It highly likely boils down to philisophical differences in opionion - no big deal. The kids love him, he does an outstanding job - has there been some blips - yep - same as every other coach - seems some here just want to suggest controve...

I agree with you, why would a coach get fired when they have a fantastic team? Answer? The coach. Must be something wrong with him no organization in there right mind would fire a winning coach unless something went wrong. Sounds like you may know and maybe its even you or your buddy who is TTL and ...

Choice league

The Choice league sounds like a good program. Some associations are good, like ours, some bad. Its good to have options, for profit, non profit, who cares. I know some kids who learned a lot at Choice, maybe associations should open their minds to learning something new.

For once Muck and Grind I agree with you on this one. These kids are being treated as if they are NHL stars. A lot can happen to these stars of today. Some will quit, some will get hurt, and others will surpass them in skill level because they already peaked.

Ex Blades coach

I heard through several grapevines that the coach you are referring to has caused another uproar at the current organization he is in (Icemen) There is more to coaching than winning tournaments. The Machine, the Monopoly and the Blades has more team spirit and passing ability then this team. The Ice...

Woo Hoo

I have to say I agree with you! Nice post. I have heard recently of an unfortunate incident on another team that makes the Machine and Blades far superior to this organization. Certain coaches and certain parents really need to step down off their high horses and help our kids develop and have fun. ...

kicked off team

Should parents sue? no, ridiculuous. No one here knows the facts it could have been anything. There is more to the story. Be interesting to know and also who the coach/team is. Might tell us a lot. No matter what happened, no communication is gutless.

Really Spellchecker? You that cold?

every kid deserves a fair conversation with a coach...no matter how bad they are. Coaches have the responsibility to the kids and if one isn't good enought, they need to address it. If the coach chose this kid he needs to live with his decision. Man, this is youth hockey not the NHL. AAA or not.
