State Tourney commentators

Being a young adult my most fond memories of the state tournament came from the days of Spehar, Welch, and the famous commentator that gave such a passion into his job. However, I recently realized I do not know what his name was. Can anyone help me?

South St. Paul although they are no where near the previous two years they will continue to be far from the bottom of the pack and may even pull a few upsets.

Adam Wilcox, he is a superb athlete and you can't argue a kid who has played in big games since he was a freshman.

South St. Paul

Coming off a few bright years in which the Packers under Jeff Lagoo produced numerous division I prospects such as Wilcox, Faulk, Palmquist, are they going to be competitive once again?

It should be a great game! Like in most big games ssp success will rely on wilcox. If he comes to play they will be tough to beat. Also I don't like that ssp only beat minnihaha by 1. But I know they will show up for this one. Mah. On the other had has been playing their best hockey of the year as ...

Mahtomedi doesn't have the depth to beat SSP, and it will be six straight for the Pack... They just don't seem to skate well against South St. Paul and have struggled finding a way to stop SSP's goal scorers all last year and this year as well. Sorry Starmvp...

Re: St. Thomas Academy Cadets @ Mahtomedi Zephyrs 2/20

1st meeting STA won 8-5 with an empty net in a back and forth game.. Can Mahtomedi knock off STA going into the playoffs? Depending on seeding they might not get a chance at STA, and if they do knock them off I don't believe they have found anyway to beat South St. Paul. For the last two years it h...

Best Coaches in each Section?

Let's hear somethings about those who led the young men in high school hockey? Who is the coach of the year in each section so far? Keep in mind success, consistency, development, and sportsmanship.

Mahtomedi Overrated??

Is Mahtomedi overrated? They are a consistent top ten team but were beaten up by South St. Paul who tied St. Thomas, Woodbury, and beat up on Red Wing. Why are they so high on the computer rankings? Any thoughts

Mahtomedi doesn't deserve to be in the top ten on anyones list! South St. Paul beat Red Wing and Mahtomedi and they are not ranked I dont think any of you have been really watching the games just looking at the MinnHock rankings so please reconsider using your common sense.
