Rocket 78 - Where do you get your information? I don't believe the Dodge County position has been officially opened yet by the cooperating schools, and the change is probably coming from within for just one year.

Probably should leave this one alone until official word has been released.

Re: Tough Missota?

Put it in context.... as opposed to the Big 9. There are some good teams in the Big 9, but top to bottom the Missota is a lot tougher.
Thank you for clarifying what I was talking about.

Dominating performance by the Wingers. Could have been worse, but decent goaltending kept it close for the Falcons. Shut out Bergland, which many haven't been able to do.

Competing in the tough Missota conference pays huge dividends when playing non-conference games.

Wingers are on a roll!

Homer, you might want to be careful when talking about Winny Brodt and possible favoritism. Just insinuating the fact publicly is not fair to her. Winny goes out of her way to help all girls and wants to see them all succeed, even if they aren't from Roseville. Like many others have said before me, ...

Red Wing could possibly have three girls playing U12's from their varsity team and one was the their second leading scorer! If anyone thinks that RW should be playing A's, they may want to pull their head out! They might have four girls that are 12A caliber players and have a U10 eligable girl cente...

My bet is on Red Wing!!!

This was truly an unbelievable season for the Wingers. No one would have expected a third place finish, maybe a tournament birth, but not a medal. The Wingers are young and learned to win close games when they counted. Can't wait to see the banner hanging in PI!!! Make no mistake about it, taking th...

Agree Gundy! Dodge County is defensively one of the better teams I watched this year and really come to play. Sounds like the section game OT loss was a good one, sorry you guys couldn't have come out on the other end with a win. Congrats on a great year!

Dad1980, I would sure hope you beat Faribault. Doesn't Rochester have like 100,000 people? It's funny how a town of that size has only one team that can beat a class A team, and on top of it has to go to overtime to do it.

Congrats on producing AA power teams out of Rochester.

No worries Falcon 89! Although I was a little disappointed that the girls didn't get the #1 seed, we were going to have to beat you in the championship anyways. :P Not sure playing Waseca isn't the same as sitting idle. I think scrimmaging our U12's would give us the same game situations you will fa...
Mahtomedi looks good. I have only seen Mahtomedi once this year, but have seen the Centennial team play in a couple of tournaments and that is what I have seen. Good luck to everyone in Districts.
Hey I'm some what new to hockey, so help me out on this one. I...

Well arguably states just that, up for argument. My choice of word(s) were correct in the context in which they were used.

We can agree to disagree. :D

Good luck to all the teams in their respective sections!

It's laughable, because even though she is a good player, she is not better than Rose. Rose has her choice of any D1 school and could have left Red Wing, but chose to stay because of her loyalty to the community.

I said arguably. Talk about colored glasses, Anderson from Shako??? That comment is laughable at best. You better come up with something better than that!!!

I have seen most of them play on your list and tell me mister scouting wizard, what coach would take any one of them over Rose?

Falcon 89 fan, I hope Rose stays healthy too. Rose is arguably the best player in the state and one couldn't begin to figure out how to fill her skates. That being said, Red Wing is 2-1 in their last three games without Rose scoring a goal. Rose has really picked up her play within this time period....
