WOW...shocking score AL v Winona! Again, goes to show parity in Big 9 and if you dont show up on a regular basis what can happen.......uncharacteristic for a Nystrom team!!

Trautman kid has looked pretty good so far from games I have seen....much better than expected IMO. Can be a little shakey with rebounds as stated before but somehow seems to make saves. All this team needs is a good run of goaltending come playoffs and it could upset Lourdes or NP in sections.

This Conference has a lot of parity....AL, RM, and MW should be a top come the end....AL is looking good early and I would assume will be strong late....RM will be good if they can get some punch from 2-3 lines and MW will be strong if they get goaltending. They have 2 very strong lines and are miss...

The goalie from the White Team #11 I think was Shattuck Prep. If those were the only good players, then the Orange or Gold team won the tourney? They seemed to be the teams loaded with those players on the teams you listed. What teams did go to the championship? # 7 on the red team was a SSM Prep p...

Please, If you can argue my opinion I would love to here it. Other then a few kids from Benild, Hill, and a couple from shattuck, who else was there? Why were none of the kids from Shattucks prep team on the ice? What scouts were there? The goalie from the White Team #11 I think was Shattuck Prep. ...

Any ideas on who will replace him....I would certainly think they need to get a former player to at least have 1 on staff with ties to the program....one name I have heard thrown around is Eric Means the current MSU Maverick asst. coach......seems like a good fit.

alot of section 1 was left off. Talking to someone that was there sunday, a couple of the 1AA kids should have made the chicago team. Yumu gave up 2 goals in 3 games, including 0 in the championship and doesnt get asked..Anderson from MW played well...only 2 from the Championship team? yeah, im sur...

Looks like Tom McCarthy (Benilde), Joe Becker (Moorhead), Justin Jokinen (Cloquet), Steve Zierke (Benilde) and Ryan Bohrer (Cretin) gone from the original roster. Dan Cecka (Hill-Murray), Joe Krause (Hermantown), Aaron Molstad (Stillwater) and Nick Thielen (Moorhead) added. I think Anderson kid fro...

Mayo and John Marshall both had good state teams going back to the 70's. JM won it in '79 and took 2nd in '77 and '89. Rather than keep 2 mega schools like Eden Prairie,Edina, etc. they split into a third school (Century)at the start of this decade. Lakeville also split a couple of years ago. Is th...

Section 1AA/1A wins the Championship over 6AA/6A 7-1. Game was 2-1 after the first half before Secton 1 dominated the second half and put in 5 goals. Section 1 takes both the great 8 and Advanced 17 Championships. Why can't Section 1 do anything in the State Tournament? Simply... Depth! There are m...

From my understanding THere were a few more that should have been invited....Southern MN still not getting the credit it deserves even after winning it....In my opinion, the Anderson kid from MW was one of the better players on the ice that weekend.
