I know from some inside sources they will be getting a new rink and there main goal is to make it into the WCHA. I beleive bemidji would be a lot better than Alaska for the WCHA.

I dont think its crap i played junior gold in rapids. I agree that not the whole community looks down on them but a good few do. I will stick by my word about the refs though they would love to see junior gold gone in rapids.

All i got to say is wow sportsmanship in JG. THe world is changing lol. Its good to see Rapids JG get some support they are hated by the community the refs and most likely the arena. So nice comment

Joe Stejskal from Rapids last was dominant in any sport he played no matter what it is. The most all round athlete I have ever seen.

Well sections were made to make this happen but now days the sections are so mixed up now anything can happen. I believe its best to see teams from all over the state compete in the tourney. I mean in the state of hockey so why would people just want to see all metro teams.

I really hope to see greenway at least contend with the better teams in section 7A. They need to bring some pride back to that neck of the woods. perhaps a over .500 record. I believe this is a possibility with returners like orhn, adams, and mendoza. Just a thought.

I believe this is the worst State Tourney i have ever experienced totally boring beside benilde Vs. Edina. I think the JR. Gold state tourney in rapids this weekend will bring more excitment the best part is we dont have to listen to Lou Nanne for a whole year.

I think everyone must admit there going to miss hearing the Rapids band. The last two years they had the best and are stiil the best. They should be down there as a house band.

I would much rather listen to Woog's Drunken Slurrsss then have to sit through two hours of Lou talking up all the metro teams it makes me want to vomit.

I am shocked to not see many people going with Rapids and Greenway. I mean as of lately the games have not been close but are still filled with intense atmosphere. Look for the Raiders to come out flying. Greenway will hopefully pulloff the upset. 4-3 Raiders ot. Dan Kessler with the senior leadership.

For best post season rivalry its hands down any semi/final game in Section 7AA East VS Cloquet, Cloquet Vs Rapids, Rapids Vs East. The DECC is insane during these games and the teams all have bad blood for each other. Just a great hockey atmosphere.

As for Kosak's injury goes its a knee injusy the same knee he has had problems with in the past. I m not sure on the logistics on it but it doesnt sound good.

In the past years Hibbing has always gave rapids alot of trouble. I dont know what it is on paper they are not a better team but they always get the best of them. Im hoping all this changes. I will go Indians 4 Jackets 2. Should be a great game.

Canceling a hockey game because of cold sounds like the athletic director/superintendent are a little soft. Remeber when Rapids and Greenway schools were canceled. The conditions were twenty times worse than this and guess what they still played. If they make this game up i hope greeneway pulls away...

Obviously the Broncos are the front runner. However, i believe Rapids will pull it out its the end of the year and rapids seems to always get hot at this time they will beat I Falls and Hibbing in the second meeting.

Just for the record i am of no relations to the guyer's i said that the goalie switch ended up for the worst. I do believe harbin is still hurt too.

Yeah maybe they should give the kid some playing time but not against rapids. I just meant it turned out for the worst because greenway showed some sign of life and arnuson did not help greenway keep the little momentum they gained.

If Rapids plays as bad as they did against Hibbing and Greenway there is not a chance but i have faith they will pull it off 4-3.

I attended the game tonight and thought it was a pretty poor played game on both sides mostly greeway. Although i was impressed by the play of Garret Orhn he was very solid. Especially being a sophmore. Pulling Guyer turned out for the worst. Arnuson was terrible and let in a very sloppy goal by Roy.
