I don't know if this counts, but Anders Lee will be making his 4th appearance next week with Edina, he had 3 at STA.

He could be the only player to win a state championship in both A and AA.

I'm not sure if it was '97 or '98, but Henry Sibley was the 6th seed and knocked of the Johnson Governors in the semi-finals and went on to beat South St. Paul in the final of section 2AA. Johnson had a strong team that year, I beleive they were rated the number 1 team in the metro the majority of t...

If Roseville's first line plays like they did last night against Hastings, Hill Murray doesn't stand a chance. The first line had 18 points between them, four pp tallies as well.

I'm gonna miss not hearing the "Public Schools" chant at the X.

Hastings still has its in-house program, which is down to only 5 teams. They have decided to have a full time A squirt team, which in my opinion is not the way to go. The reason being is simple, your taking for the most part the best coaches from the squirt program and putting them on one team. Now ...

Well, who is it that these little darlings wish to play for? Jacque LeMaire? If they cant handle a "tough" coach, good luck to them in life. Are Mommy and Daddy going to be able to help them when they get a job and their boss disciplines them? Pathetic. What happened to the people of Hast...

Hey Tuffy it sounds to me that Welch had everything to do with it. 3 strikes your out right. Why was he on the ice at all, and why is he a Captain. He has never coached a average team to a state tourney. The section he has been in his whole coaching career has been the worst section in the state. M...

Russ Welch has nothing to do with this, you don't win the amount of games he has and made state tournament appearances like has because your a bad coach. This all starts with respect and discipline, which this kid has none of. Whether its in the stands or on the bench taking stats its been no secret...

Re: WBL/Hastings

Can WB win short 3 starters? They need this game to stay in the race. Hastings comes into this game playing with lots of confidence after winning there last 5 SEC games. They played them tight in a 3-1 loss earlier in the year, so it should be a close game again tonight. I still think Hastings come...
