Being an alumni of Mound Westonka, I can say that the large majority of people from the town, and supporters of their beloved hockey team, have lots of class. Reidy is just an avid supporter, perhaps a little too avid. I assure you, not all MWHS students or residents of that school district are as &...

Wow, I wonder how many people trashing on Mound actually are unbiased people? The fact is that both teams hate each other in one of the more heated rivalries in Minnesota High School Hockey. Both teams played really dirty, and both teams hate each other. But it doesn't matter how you got there, Moun...

The way the season has been going seems to point that Mound will be near the top this year. However, it's hard to bet against Blake this year too. Orono looks to be falling well below expectations, and Providence Academy is playing really well. Breck, being Breck, is always a contender... 1. Mound-...

I think he is the one who cut his achilles in a game at Hermantown  Ouch. All the way through or partially? I would think that could end his playing for good. Yes he's the one who cut the achilles...IDK if it was complete, I don't think so from the way I was told. I heard there was another k...

Riley Horgan was at or near the top of goal scoring before he got injured. He may not be around this year, but next year he will be a force for the Whitehawks.

Hermantown is a great team. Period.

Granted, the Toppers have a lot of upside as well, but I think the defending champs will show some clout here.

Hawks - 4
Toppers - 2

Even with Riley Horgan out for the year, I think we all need to be wary of Mound-Westonka. Horgan is definitely an incredible player, and his loss will hurt, but with young players like Colin Mayer stepping up, along with strong goaltending by Brian Nelson, Mound still has a great shot at going a lo...

Hands down Hopkins. They indeed have been waiting a while to hit it big, and they really are. They've had some big wins along the way, and this may be a strong year for the Royals.
