I have to think that Edina will be the favorite going into next year, w/ defection to Juniors being their only problem looming... Just too much great talent returning... Jeferson will also be good, Linq has a good squad coming back next year w/ a lot of talent there... Hill should be strong as alwa...

pretty obvious picks in my opinion 1970: 1974 Edina East 1980: 1983 Hill 1990: 1993 Jefferson 2000: As of now 2004 Centennial (should be what could have been 2005 Moorhead) But I will hedge my bets and say the 2009 Hornets will be by far the best of this decade all time: 1993 Jefferson (I would bet...

Re: Look

I've wondered that as well, but I will say this...HS programs in many sports have a way of breaking down a great chemistry developed in youth sports, why does that happen? Is it because you go from having 2 year classes, to 3 or 4 on one team, and the the whole team gets broken apart, taking the be...

you guys really havent done your research, or this would not be a legit topic. EP will be a top notch contender, but I think 2010 will be the best year for the state in a while (by that I mean there is allot of talent in allot of places). As for EP winning state? a good possibility, but I would say ...

While it'll be tough to cope with the losses of Flip, Furne, Cecka, Dolan, and Sova, the Pioneers have a strong chance in defending their section 4AA title. Issac Kohls should produce Dan Cecka type numbers and play along Tyler Zepeda and Nick Widing. Paul Prescott and Jeff Westerhaus could become ...

deffinetely will be a down year for Hill. The last three years have been good for them, but the lost allot of key seniors. In all fairness, the talent is not a problem but the sheer ammount of experience and age might hurt them. we lost 12 seniors and hoeffel 2 seasons ago. no one gave us a chance ...

Re: Who will be the top team next year? AA

Edina was the #1 seed at the state tournament last season, went 2-1, and won the Consolation hardware. Edina was the #2 seed this year, lost in the final, and was Runner-up. Is this the underachieving team of which you speak? I think Holy Angels has to be on anyone's short list of contenders just b...

This is one of the worst scenarios I have heard of for a high school team, this really will cause so much off ice and on ice turmoil between parents and players to the detriment of the team, I am going to say that Brent Hollerud was embarrassed because of his parents actions (maybe) If you you look...

Roseau only beat Jefferson 4-3 and scored with 0.2 seconds left Jefferson wasnt even a top 20 team this year And Hill only beat Moorhead 4-3 scoring late yet they were definitely the best team at the tourney. What's your point? moorhead was a top 10/15 team and a lot better than jefferson wrong, Mo...
