After losing their first to the Stars last year I'm sure Shattuck would like to make sure that doesn't happen again.

Gotta go with Shattuck, there is a reason Sydney Crosby played there, I think last year was a fluke.

Holy Angels just gave up 6 to and lost by 3 to a Minnetonka team. I think SSM might be a little better than Minnetonka.

No question, Shattuck will win at whatever score they want it to be. But I will not agree that last year was a fluke. I was at the game and it was extremely entertaining. AHA had a much different and much better team last year.

Now I have to post something about this game. I will never say that my team will lose, but this one is gonna be tough. AHA is playing well, whether or not you want to agree, the game against Minnetonka they were in it until the last four minutes. SSM is talented and play a completely different style than most high school teams. Some obvious points about this game are: AHA beat SSM last year and the revenge factor must be high. It is parents weekend at SSM and that is a big reason for SSM to play good and they are at home. I am hoping the game is clean and both teams play with good sportsmanship, as far as a score. I cannot even guess...I will be there that is for sure.

STARS 2
SSM 1 After 1
SSM 4
AHA 2 After 2
SSM 7
AHA 2 Final.
Not sure about the shots, but I am guessing SSM had 35 - 40 and AHA may have had 15. Lots of penalties by AHA, weak calls. SSM is good. BSM beating them is like AHA last year.

I was there I would guess the shots were closer to 50 - 9 SSM. I did not see a shot on goal in the 3rd by AHA.
wow

Shattuck had the revenge factor two ways. AHA last year and another Minnesota HS team the day before.

I was at the game and the shots where 69 to 12 Shattuck. I heard another count of 75 to 12. An I think those where close to on the money.

I would guess the BSM games was not a factor. AHA beating SSM last year is a factor. SSm plays like bees looking for pollen, they swarm on the puck and play it real well. Many times we saw when the face-off was in the offensive zone, the player near the boards would swing around to the other side and get the pass then shoot right away.
When AHA was on the power-play it looked like they tried real hard to get the shot from the side, when they could have shot from the point many times. Easy for me to say, I was not playing.

The team that played BSM wasn't the same team that played AHA, was it?
AHA was up after 1, what happened after that?

This game was not even close. The shots were 51-9, the game was played in the AHA end the whole game. Holy had 8 shots in the first, one in the second and zero in the third. To hold a team to one shot in the last 2 periods is impressive. Shattuck gave up 11 to BSM and 9 to Holy. Thats 20 shots all weekend, they should of won both games. But in saying that give credit to BSM, they did what they had to do to win on Friday night. Holy's goalie played very well. To be honest it was a repeat of the BSM game.
The powerplay for Shattuck was fun to watch. The puck did not stay on a SSM stick for 2 seconds. Shattuck had 5 powerplays and AHA had 3, and AHA had a 1:53 5-3, so this had nothing to do with refs. Shattuck was real good lastnight.
