Govs, I hope you have a fistful of dollars for the game, Garza's pitch count is around 140 through three innings. It looks like a slow game and lot of cold boys before the sales will be suspended.

Just finished up #3, going for #4. If I can keep up the 1:1 run to beer ratio, I should be good and toasty by about the 6th inning.

Davies' last five starts

3in 6hits 5runs
6.2in 3hits 0runs
5in 8hits 4runs
5in 6hits 2runs
2in 8hits 7runs

Can the Twins roll him over like others do or will he baffle 'em for the second time in a row?

As of the top of the 5th, I've fallen off the pace. I'm irish & an eastsider, but with Garza on the mound in the Dome, that pace is a lot to ask of anybody.

Well, with that five-spot KC put up in the top of the sixth.....

Kids! Don't try this at home! It takes years and years of training to do this without being scarred for life.

Dick Bremer just went to break by saying "5 PERFECT INNINGS BY SCOTT BAKER", thank the almighty that Twins' announcers know that what they say has no bearing on what happens on the field.

Unexcusable comment none-the-less. What was he thinking? Its like asking a guy how many under par he is after the ninth hole. Sacreligious!

Dick Bremer is off the hook after Baker bakes up the half dozen. Dick can say it all night now and is immune to the jinx.

The nation is slowly gathering around their TV's for this.
