AHA, 2002 & 2005 State Champs!

whats your common logic, because saying that you are better when everytime you play us you lose doesnt seem like common logic to me. Not scoring on 6 power plays doesn't seem to impressive to me.

I think moorhead fans have expressed many times before...we choke when it comes down to it. i congradulated AHA id say 5 times by now. You beat us. but i cant tell you why because ill get the "whining" comment which is basically all you got. but i dont wanna sound like kodiak chew that much.

maybe its not that you choke, its that you aren't as good as you think. big time players make big time plays in big time games

You guys are posting so fast it is crazy! All i can say is that AHA won. Both teams were great...but AHA came out on top. Great seasons to both. The game is over so drop all of this posting.

if aha was the best overall team, how come we almost tripled your shots? exactly, our goaltenders were awe struck where yours wasn't and used to playin in the tournament. taking a goalie out, and then putting him back in in the most important game isn't really gonna put great confidence in him is he?

thats great, datin back to when.. i said this, you guys won the one that counted, still doesnt make you the better TEAM. you got us on a bad night and it came back to bite us. and a few close calls from the ref but thats hockey aint it. Congrats AHA.

sounds like another excuse, your goalies were awe struck, what do you mean by that. They saw jay bariball coming down on them with the puck and they all of a sudden forget how to make a save. Certainly they have seen players as good as Jay in practice since you guys are the better team, right?

i got to get some sleep so i will throw out my last comment for the night... AHA won state and they deserved it more than any other team. They are the ones that got there and were able to finish off the deal. Cant win a marathon if you dont cross the finish line.

awe struck as in getting put out in front of 18k people in the biggest event in minnesota. i also said Lee and Ammerman weren't directing the defense like they shoulda been. usually one of em isnt that far into the offensive zone and can be back on defense if a breakaway or 2-1 is converted. but the best defenseman get scored on all the time right? gotta cut em some slack.

yeah you did win. but you werent the better team. dont you think u woulda won the shot dept. to if that was a fact? i go by who had the more shots had more control of the game. Clearly moorhead had the more dominant game, but AHA capitalized on MHD's miscues and mhd didnt. still doesnt make them the better team. Nice debate boys.

I really expected you guys to take the win with some class. I seem to remember saying the other night that Holy Angels was banged up and might be missing some players in the final. The next post, by spudspuckemup, said I was making excuses before the game, Im sure you all got a kick of it.
