Rapids also has the home ice and a ton of motivation after what happened in last season's 7AA final.

Rapids by one, and I'd love to be wrong on this prediction.

Rapids was soundly defeated at home by a class A school. Maybe the Hawks will be dropped from the schedule next year??

And it's the USHL for all 3 which doesn't involve a D1 commitment

Agreed. It's incomprehensible this game isn't online. FSN should have made an exception and broadcast this game in HD on TV.

While I echo the gripes about this game not having streaming video, we should be able to listen to the Grand Rapids radio broadcast here: http://pcrefreshonline.com/kozy/live.html

It should be a great game, it is probably only the third most competitive game of the night, judging by Hockey Hub Rankings:

(2) Maple Grove v. (5) Edina

(3) Minnetonka v. (6) BSM

(1) East v. <10 Rapids

Duluth East should win this by a couple of goals. Bischoff and Co. would have to play a great game to win this one.

Karl this stream is not giving me much other than "blinded by the light"

Update.. This is a good stream with the game. Someone was a little premature on this end.. I'd like to say that's a first but...

In the second, Rapids ties it 1-1. 41 seconds later, Valesano tips one past Shepard - 2-1 East.

If anyone else is listening to the live radio broadcast its hilarious. Very anti-east. As to be expected from a Rapids station but still very funny!
