Mahtomedi leads 3-1 in 2nd period, Anoka makes it 3-2 after 2 periods, then scores 4 unanswered goals for a 6-3 lead. Mahtomedi then rallies and scores 3 goals to tie the score 6-6 with 2 minutes remaining. Anoka scores on a power-play in OT to win it.

North:
Teams eliminated: Virginia (4-2 loss to Fergus Falls), EGF (7-4 loss to TRF), Hibbing (6-5 loss to Fergus Falls), and Thief River Falls (5-3 loss to Grand Rapids)

Sunday morning game: Fergus Falls versus Grand Rapids

Championship game Sunday morning (winner gets the #1 seed)
Bemidji versus Moorhead Black

South:
Teams eliminated: Rochester Red (5-3 loss to Lakeville South), Owatonna (3-1 loss to Northfield), Luverne (14-4 loss to Lakeville South), and Northfield (5-3 loss to Lakeville North)

Sunday morning game: Lakeville South versus and Lakeville North

Fred, according to the District 10 web site, White Bear defeated Anoka, 6-3. Tomorrow, Blaine plays White Bear, not Anoka. The scores on the District 10 web site should be correct since District 10 is hosting the peewee A East regional. The score for the Anoka/ White Bear game on the Minnesota Hockey web site appears to be wrong.

Appreciate that. I saw the Anoka/Mahtomedi game end 7-6 in ot and thought it was strange that the Anoka/White Bear Lake game would have the same ending.

As I woke this cold March morning, I had a revelation that I felt I must share. I realized I was wrong in assuming STMADUN was the drunk B'ville fan. After reviewing what he has written I believe we are in the presence of greatness. I have not had my IT guys verify this yet but I am fairly certain that we have been joined in this forum by............Mr. Charlie Sheen.

I must now get ready for my son's game where I will not yell at the refs, the coaches, the opposing teams fans, the goal judge, the lady at the concession stand or my son although I may yell at my daughter when she asks for money for her fifth candy bar. Best of luck to all remaining teams.
