I live in Centerville and don't. I'll be generous and call them "blue collar" places. Perfect for Hill grads!

Thank goodness I've got one of these big-ass Wayzata garages now.

I refuse to let you talk about Mrs. Govs in that way.

It's baby weight... she's had trouble losing for the last 8 years.

To answer your question Govs, no I didn't get to take in a Hens game. Just went through on the way back from Winona.

Sonic will be a great addition to MN "cuisine". Had one down in St. Louis and loved it. Elk River will be adding one at the end of this summer, the police force is definitely excited.

You can get one on top of about 20 different burgers at King's in Miesville.

After a ballgame , go accross the street to The Nook on Hamline and Randolf in St Paul. Order a cold drink and a Juicy Lucy.

End of discussion.

But I do like Kings. Great to stop over after a ballgame or on the way home from Red Wing .

Had a Concord burger at the Concord bar and grill in S.St. Paul the other day!
Have to say it was one of the better burgers I've had lately.
1/2 pound with cheese, and 2 slices of really good smoky Bacon that were thicker then elliott's glasses, plus your other normal fixins on it, came with fries that were also excellent.

At Wakota, were ya?

How far from the arena is that place? Might be worth a stop between games at the SSP PREMIER Tourney.

No.... wasn't hockey this time, but it's right down the hill and across the street part of a hotel or something, close enough for a beer while the zam is going between periods :D

Govs, If you are going to Wakota from 494 , its on your right hand side just before the light where you turn left to go up that little hill to the rink.

It is now called the SSP Hotel.

But it might be a little upscale for someone from Johnson , as would most places be in SSP.

But just wear your best blue jeans and you'll be fine.

Do they just walk the meat over from the yards?

That might be a good gimmick.

Remember he is in Wayzata now so he needs to gain permission to travel to where the common people are. They keep track of those type of things in order to keep residency in Wayzata. They just don't let anyone live there.
