Wait Until Lent
Moderators: Mitch Hawker, east hockey, karl(east)
Here we are in the good old Cafe
Most Catholics are at Mass and feelin AOK
I guess it was too edgy for the bored light weight
Which accurately describes most of those who administrate
600 posts and 17,000 views are not nearly enough
Especially when the subject to deal with is just too tough
Im sure a more entertaining thread the posters will invent
Let me know when it gets better than "Wait Until Lent"

This thread lasted on the main page for 29 days and was relegated to the cafe on the 13th of January 2007.
That's an average of 586.206896552 views per day!
Here we are, 'one day' later, and your new average is about 29 views per day since being moved to the cafe!
Can you say, Out to Pasture?
Now, let's look at BIAFP's threads, as well as Angus's threads, over the years ( if you can find any that were ever noticed) and you come up with an average
of roughly 0.00054794521 "views per day"or "one thread" divided by 1,825 days (5 years at 365 days per year, not counting "leap year") and that's giving these two
BIAFP and Angus the benefit of the doubt! (assuming they've ever created
any decent threaded topics at all)
"Shredded" topics maybe, but "threaded" topics?,...unlikely at best!

I'd pretty much forgot all about little "APe"-man Jr.

Guess he's still struggling with "issues"!

It's understandable.......

The wreck of the Edmund Zamboni
The cafe is a great place for a coffee break.
After the break ... we'll head on over to the main rink and score some goals.

That's right Stitch
Lips !
Some of the "best threads" in the history of Minnhock reside right here in the 'ol cafe, and that's why it was created, so that it wouldn't be so much work for authors like packerboy and the rest to keep a thread like this on the "main page" !
We'll give some of these 'newbies' all the time they need to "get with the program" !
Some take longer than others if they "take" at all!

Right as rain SS. PB has been a little busy today and tonight but tommorow I will:
1. Report on all things Catholic
2. Give the phobic conglomorates more crap
3. Make sure you fellow Catholics play nice
4. Try to understand bored administrators
5. Not contribute to the pathetically boring main forum unless AP , SS Stitchy etc are hangin there.
This I promise and more.

THE DEVIL
The DEVIL sits in the shadows and waits for his prey.
It might not be this week or month, but soon one day.
The DEVIL started an angel as you may recall.
Then came a virgin Catholic so young and fine to all.
The DEVIL couldn't help himself everytime.
Down to the lowly depths of hell he shall confine.
SATAN sits and waits for his victims so show.
His life is not busy and he is ready to go.
Provoke if you may and lose you might.
Don't be afraid to lock your doors at night.
He comes and he goes like the wind in your hair.
Never will you know when or where.
So say what you must
You have been for warned.
Those who know the DEVIL, know he is torn in his ways.
They know the DEVIL is out at night and he preys.
If you don't listen and change your ways.
That might not get you to the next day.

Excellent job Lundy.
Your rhyme is fine.
I see slapshooter's thread has been "written off" over in the pathetically boring main forum where the pagans hang out.
Our Dulutheran "friend", as SS described him, has persecuted the devout Catholics forcing them into the Cafe in much the same way the Romans forced the first Catholics into the catacombs.
You people have no idea how to defend a chat board. All you did was weaken a hockey forum, Lee. Sweet dreams son.
The Catholics will huddle in the darkness of the Cafe but still singing this refrain:
Yes we'll gather in the Cafe
The beautiful, beautiful Cafe
Gather with the Catholics in the Cafe
That flows by the throne of Lee

I will give SS some credit.
The Spuds have a great hockey "Program."
It is too bad that other teams do not see the light.
DD is laying on the track as the DEVIL whispers...."Get up...Get UP!! There is a train coming!!!!!" Save yourself.
No response from DD. For he is deaf and blind. He cannot hear the train coming. CHUGGA CHUGGGA CHUUGGGGGAA......The end is near.

Seems Old Slap and his imaginary buddies couldn't stand up to the might of one lone Holy Roman warrior!
