A teammate of my son scored a 35 and he went to a public school. Was offered a full ride to Purdue. How was that possible at a public school?
You see Hill's test scores will be higher as kids have to APPLY to get in, public score has to accept all weather they plan on attending college or not.
Pull your head out of the sand.
I pulled my head out of the sand, waited a day and I still have no idea exactly what your point is. I was reacting to mnpuckster’s belief about MPA & SPA being so much better academically than HM and his insistence that all hockey players go to HM for hockey only. He was very sure of himself - he said period, end of story.
HM’s average ACT score is 25. Stillwater’s average score is 23. Stillwater’s average is not dragged down by kids not planning to go to college. They don’t usually take the test. Stillwater has about 25% not take it. Nothing wrong with that 23 average. It's a good school.
I never said, in a cense, or sense, that hockey players at public schools cannot do well academically. I never said Stillwater HS can’t prepare a kid to get a 35 ACT score. The big suburban public schools produce lots of very smart kids that get great test scores and go to top colleges. My problem with them is that they are too big. Too many kids get lost in the shuffle and don’t participate in activities. They also like to push smart kids out the door to go take college courses during junior and senior years. Too many of their top students don’t even set foot in the building during the school day.
I suspect the weather at public scores, or schools, is the same as at private schools. Today it is cloudy and 36 degrees.
