Yeah, I'm not a big beer drinker, so you'd probably whoop my butt at that. I like my whiskey and my rum a little too much. It's the only thing that makes the abuse of a referee go away. :D

Sounds like uncle george and gramma ruby.
Now Uncle George, well I'm not sure I know which one you are talking about there, but Gramma Ruby was my favorite. I use to go to her house everyday after school. Loved that woman. Grandpa Wally became a favorite in later year as I always had to call him to tell him when the NHL games were on and then listen to him complain about all the damn Russians in the league. Good times. Gramma Ruby like her whiskey or her rum?

Good point, I'll watch for lions while I'm out there. Maybe we should use that to get some of the refs to skate faster.

Yeah, I don't know how the whole stripes on the uniform thing works. I have a buddy in the Navy, never thought to ask though. Excellent depection of me, of course he needs a helmet......on backwards with a pitch black shield and I prefer using a dog on skates compared to a cane. His name is Misconduct.

Excellent, now I just need me one of those pink or Lime green helmets and I'll be set. Maybe I'll get one with a spinning goal light on top to signify penalties, if I decide I ever want to call another one.

Those suspenders would look pretty rugged if paired with these sweaters:

Hey, it it was for a good cause like breast cancer, I wouldn't mind wearing that at all. #1. Had enough cancer in my life to never want to see it again
#2. I'm a big fan of the breasts, so we should do what we can to keep them in great shape, haha.

Hope that was a joke like all the ones we are making. I honestly reffed only 5 squirt games last year and only 20 out of 117 were done in the two man system.

It wasn't a joke, anyone that has officiated at any level above squirts would never sign on to a message board as "theref"

Why not, since that is the part of the game that I am most related to now, I felt it was a fitting name. For your information I'm a 13 year vetran who has reffed all the way through Minnesota State High School and was selected to attend the US Select 15 National Camp in August. Perhaps you might have a more open mind if you got off the recliner from time to time and spent a little less time critizing someone's name. How lame is that? Just like the village in Texas, a village in Minnesota has lost their idiot and he found his way onto the internet.

Then you should know better to call out another referee for just his name. Maybe you are just a little to old school for me. I guess I'm just one of those newer reffs that doesn't have a problem being an official and doesn't need to hide the fact that it is a large part of my life that I am proud of.

Have a good day sir, good luck with whatever it is that crawled up your butt. Oh, by the way, leagues I've never seen. I've seen every league with the exception of european leagues, I just haven't reffed them. I won't ever make it pro, but I'm not far off from college. Since you seem to be so much higher and better than that, why don't you send me some tips as to how you achieved your greatness. I welcome an email from you at anytime.

Boys, boys boys....

BIAFP is getting a little 'gray', even if the blonde does not show it.
But, like his father and his father's father, is (was?) a good ref.

Young the(maybenotTHE)ref has very good blood lines, also.
And I do not doubt his abilities.

So shake hands and come out 'blowing your whistles'????

:D
