Interesting.

I still feelthe pain of all of those losses.

I sat in front of the TV in total disbelief in 1970.

The Steeler game was awful.

The Miami game was bad.

The Raiders game was embarrasing.

Id like to see 1 time the Vikes win that game.

I dont care who the QB is.

It was hard to get the treat at school to watch NFL films each year after the game, just to re-live those losses, but the 1st three we only managed a total of 20 pts, while giving up 63, and then the Raiders game well........nevermind!

I'd love to see #4 in a Vikes jersey. He would shore up the only ? mark have. Yes those Packers fans could say it is all because of him, but who would have the ring? He spent how many years with them and only got 1 and comes here and is 1-1. Maybe we'd even bring Randy back

If Favre did sign with the Vikes it would put a damper on the jersey retiring day they have planned.

Get over it CNT.

We have been OK with ex cheeseheads before.

Should we dump Sharper too?

I dont think the Vikes would want him.

One player doesnt guarantee a Championship, even a HOF QB.

I think they want to develop TJack and see where that takes them. Having him take the year off would make no sense, long term, if they really think he is the QB of the future.

And Brett, make up your boofin mind.

That I completely agree on!

On Tjack he has the tools, he just needs to be cool under pressure, and that comes with experience.
I think we'll see marked improvement in him this year, and just in time... this is the year for us to be a contender..oh that's right we still got Chilly

You're kidding right? It's all about a one year run in the NFL...he'd give the Vikes a legit chance at a ring this year. Plus no one could argue it'd hurt tjack to watch favre for a year.

Whilst suffering through another agonizing Monday at work, I was looking through the Vikes schedule again. Did anybody else pick up on the fact that they have ZERO cold weather games this season? Me likes...

NIce find Sherlock. Usually on Mondays I play Sudoka.

Favre would not like to be a Viking. He's a cold weather QB :D

CNT's Farve phobia notwithstanding, I am not kidding. GB and MN seem to want to move to a new player at the position. One that they drafted and have been grooming for it ,long term.

I dont necessarily agree with it , but it looks a lot like thats what both teams want to do and Farve doesnt fit in with their plans.

Farve bugs me but whats with the Packers.

Let Farve go to another team and go with Rogers. Thats what Montana and the 49ers did and it wasnt a big deal.
