all i got to say is that...... east lost to centennial 8-2. and then 2nd goal was against their 4th line, i think to be a number 1 team, you dont lose by 6 and make excuses bout not playin any games in that week!,,,, we're in mn, should be prepared for snow! all i got to say is, centennial is number 1, and is unbeatable

Absolutely, There is plenty of room on board the train, even with the addition of two fabulously fine posters such as BIAFP and AngusYoung on this most excellent thread on this renowned forum. I noticed that BIAFP is still struggling a bit about defining his new faith but this is typical with new converts. Slappy might be gone but not forgotten. We can only hope that the legend lives on through Angus as he has agreed to carry the torch on the final leg home unless slappy comes back as is predicted by most who probably know best.

Well right on SS, but lets go easy on the new converts(I like to call them grainees). Although the train is rollin faster and on a more direct route than ever, as predicted, the more passengers the merrier. I like the controversy raised by that certain unmentionable score the other night. It pulls eveyone together as we can all agree on that issue, as has been clearly demonstrated. Even the brainiest of us can see it our way. But, I suppose you have to get the bad blood out every once in a while with a little war, just asks Dons. I am sure he will make you an offer you cant refuse. But the real war will be held soon in a familiar venue in a river town known as The Saintly City. Those crazy section 8 guys will do it and there will be more grainees than we know what to do with. A fact that goes against the grain, as a thread by that name and its author lives on.

"Converted" is one thing Joe, But "coverted" applies more to the Trojan Horse that Angus has slipped into and others like him. Oh I love the guy Joe, but if I'm not mistaken, and you know I rarely, if ever, am. That guy is 'coverted'. Well sure, things get more grainless all the time. When you go against it , it gets less so it becomes grainless. By going agaist the grain, the grain of a good many of the fine forum members and participants, the grain itself becomes weak. This is why we do it. Of course, over time, what is with the grain and what is against it becomes difficult to ascertain. Some things that appear to be with the grain are actually against it and , of course, vice versa. We need to contnue to discuss these and other issues as we approach the biggest sports event of the year occuring in March in St Paul. What wil unfold? Will the supremicist be undermined? Will crazy section 8 prevail? How will the Catholics do? Will they be there? If so, will the Xcell have fish sandwiches for Fridays game? Which answesr to the above are with the grain? Which are against? You decide.

Well slappy, believe it or not, there are quite a few realistic hockey parents. The ones that arent seem to be the loudest and make a bad impression but thats true in every sport. Its the doubters and the ungrainful that are unrealistic because its real and its gonna happen and there isnt much anybody is able to do about it unkess the could be in section 3 and even that wont be enough, as previously proven beyond doubt. When are the secton 8 finals?

Lake of the Woods absolutlely destroyed East Grand Forks and it couldn't have happened to a chippier 'Green Wave Team! Despite the obvious leaning towards the East Grand Team by the refs the game was over by early in the second period. Lake of the Woods kept their poise while East Side totally fell apart with cheap play and constantly tryin' to pick a fight. A fight that was already lost before the game was half way through. LOW looked real good tonight but not good enough to defeat the Warroad Warriors. The Warriors will wear them out and stuff them back into their suit cases for the trip back to Baudette. It'll be a much better game to watch than tonights fiasco but I don't see this smooth looking team getting through the punch and power of the Warroad defense. If they could however, they would definately have a shot to win at the Excel bu I'll skate across the Excel in a pink bikini if they beat the defending State Champs!
