Worriers went 2-2 against those catholics and 2-0 against the pagans.

That is if we count the JV manuevers as previously proposed by packerboy.

I bet they still have fish specials in late winter on Fridays (even).

Well, another great tournament for the Catholics. To no ones surpise, our schools collected a lot of hardware.

In the Gold, our boys won the Championship and 3rd place.

In the Silver, the crazy Catholics won Runner up and 3rd place.

Nice of our boys to let the publics win one.

Its been a while.

But that will be the last time this year for the pagans. If you dont believe me, wait until Lent.

AP, I dont know wht you are looking forward to on Jan 20 unless its a flat tire on their bus. Good luck my friend.

Anybody can crack wise about one or two games but when CDH's senior captains return, there will be heck to pay for all those who did not believe.

If AHA doesnt put the fear of God in the pagan infidels, I dont know what would.

Just wait. Wait until lent.

Good to see you yesterday packerboy, even if we were going in opposite directions.

Not a great day for the pagan infidels, even the Hornets championship wasn't completely fulfilling considering the Cretins' injury issues. If I'm not mistaken though, there was a public sweep of the Bronze class so at least one class wasn't infested with Catholic crusaders.

Most of the Catholic schools have fairly benign nicknames, Stars, Pioneers, Bears, et al, but Cretin has Raiders which is a rather un-Christian moniker. Crusading is one thing, raiding quite another, wouldn't you say. It can be a conundrum naming sports teams, I mean you don't want a warm fuzzy name like the Teddy Bears or Pink Bunnies but 'Raiders' goes against Christian ideals so what's the deal? The publics don't have this problem, 'Raiders' fits quite nicely into the tenets of capitalism which would be the underlying philosophy or 'religion' if you will espoused at public schools.

Good to see you too ,even if for such a short moment.

Well ChrisK, its a little known fact that the full nickname for CDH is the Holy Raiders.

Thats right. They are especially trained to attack those that would attempt to destroy the Catholics and , of course, to defend the Holy City from the fat cat, Godless, pagan infidels.

We will be full strength by Lent. Just wait.

I was sacnning the thread topics and saw this thread that said "Kiwanis hockey festival" and I thought for an instance it said " Kwanzaa hockey festival"

I suppose that will be next.

The whining about AHA will soon start if it hasnt already.

They will whine and complain that the Catholics should be ousted and that they want the big suburban schools to win again because the poor babies only have about 3,000 kids from 8-10 different communities plus transfers; free tuition and the finest facilities imaginable.

But the Catholics will keep winning while the Kwanzaa crowd keeps whining and scratching their heads as to why they lose so many kids.

This will happen all the way until Lent. Just wait and see.

Edina feels the same way AP.

But the Hornets are back this year contending and with big wins vs Catholics.

The phobics apparently miss hating Edina and Jefefrson and want those days back.

I knew once they got a look at AHA, theyd come pooring out of the wood work like my newest pets the boxelder bugs.

Say AP, I suppose you could start a "They recruit more than we do" campaign against AHA. Youd probably garner lots of support.

Carpenterguy DOES think he's that other carpenter from the New Testament (and not at all judgmental and full of generalizations himself)! AP is actually full of factual details, but generalizations more easily fit in these small forum boxes!

Well Hapy New Year to all of you.

Neut is , of course, correct but his views are not shared.

I knew the phobics would come out of the woodwork once they got a look at AHA and I was right.

No one called for a ban of Jefferson in the mid 90's. Edina was not thrown out when they won their 20th championship or whatever it is.

Centennial's team a couple of years back was similar in skill to all the great teams of the past and present.

I thoroughly enjoyed watchig all of those teams. They were good for hockey.

But if you are a Catholic team, the bigotted phobics hate it when you are good. It makes no sense but neither does racial prejudice nor religous persecution . Yet, sadly, it exists.

When the Catholics sweep both classes again this year, there will be a cry through out the land to oust them. If you dont believe me just wait.

Wait until Lent.
