Too Big?
Is this topic getting to big for anyone else? Members of the secret society still sticking to the pact to keep it all in one place?
The bigger the better.
Anyone have an extra goal I could borrow here or there on any given night? I always seem to be one short.

Tournaments
There is a cloquet tournament this weekend, not very good teams though.

EagleGuy talk to Edina White. They havent allowed a goal in three games. 6 shutouts thus far. ATTENTION OPPOSING COACHES, get your kids fired up and lets see if Edina White can handle everyone gunning for them.
Someone beat them and bring Edina back down to earth. They are firing on all cylinders at every level this year. Looks like the Green Machine is back. Don't get me wrong, I hate it too.
How about Bouchard's shootout goal last night? I guarantee you'll be seeing that one during peewee and bantam practices all over the Twin Cities this week.
This topic will never be big enough as far as I'm concerned.

BB1 Blog
No offense to HockeyGuru#6, but let's keep this topic alive until the end of the year. Hey Lee, with 278 replies and 15400+ views on this topic, can we get this topic as a sticky?
On another note, Tonka gets the next shot at the #1 Green (& White machine) on Thursday at Pagel.

Edina vs. Tonka
From the Pagel Center:
#1 Edina White - 3
Tonka - 2
Tonka outshoots the Hornets 28-23 but comes up on the short end. That's Tonka's third 3-2 loss in their last 4 games (Wayzata Blue, Chaska and Edina White).
Hey, EagleGuy, Tonka and your team need to go shopping together to buy some goals!

Minnetonka played too many games early in my opinion. Most teams take the early parts of November to develop rhythm and find their roles at practice. I think they were forced into playing too many games against weak opponents. This has hurt them against the big contenders.
They have heart and fight hard but it may have been more beneficial to setup fewer, stronger scrimmages instead of a whole bunch of weak ones.
They may have trouble trying to come out of D6. Losing close games takes its toll. They can still turn it around its a long season and getting hot at the right time means everything, see Chaska last season.
BlueBlood you may not agree with my theory. If it were me and I saw what I had after tryouts I would've tried scheduling with Centennial, Blake, Wayzata Blue, WBL or Stillwater instead of Orono, St. Louis Park and Coon Rapids. There's no doubt they are a good team, its just how I see it. Lots of individual play not much passing or synergy.
I didnt think last night's game was close. Edina may have had fewer shots but they were around the net and controlled all three zones much better. White is a quality team. I dont like their coaches though, too much whining about calls EVERY GAME. Let the refs do their jobs and play the game. Its going to get them in trouble.

Edina White just can't keep up this pace for as long as they have been. Soon you would think that they will fall down, I'm thinking they will lose 1 or 2 games this month, but will it be today v.s. Chaska, who might be hot by beating Blake? Or will it take a while until their tourney or one of their next 2 league games v.s. one of the EP teams? White seems to be slightly moving down while Green is moving way up.
P.S. I think I might head down to the rink to watch the Edina-Chaska game today, anyone else going to make it?
