I guess I can answer my own question. Even without Luke Erickson the Beavers win 5-2 with three third peiod goals.

Beavers sweep UMD, coming from behind in Duluth for 6-5 OT win and the Friday night 5-2 win in Bemidji.
BSU Beavers 4
WCHA 0
in games this year.
I believe 8 and 3 over the last 3 years.

How happy does Lee gotta be?
And that 4-0 doesn't count until you play the Gophs

The U is 13-1-3. They are the best in MN.

Might as well put the Dogs at the bottom. They deserve it.
Were you at tDECC for the Saturday fiasco? I think the cries for Sandelin's head went up at least fivefold after that.....game....

Lee
No, I watched it on channel 10(our13). If I would have been there I would have found you.
My guess is he is in trouble if he cannot start turning things around shortly. Last year it was YOUNG talent that were learning the game. What is it this year, YOUNG goaltender???
Not that I want him gone, but there was an expectation of better things this year.

Could someone from up north tell me how Travis Winter is doing for Bemidji State. Statistically he is doing well, but how is his over-all play?

Travis is doing vrey well.
Usually second line centerman.
Coaches are very happy with him.
His size, strength and speed just makes his intelligence more of a threat.
He will just get better and better.

Thatnks for the upodate on Travis. I guess the St.Cloud paper feels that unless you play at SCSU no one cares to hear about it their success stories. Too bad because there are plenty of young men from St.Cloud area doing well at other colleges.

Casual
If you are or can be far enough north the home games are broadcast on the BSU channel over the local Charter cable company (Channel 17).
Two more wins this weekend is my prediction over Ala - Huntsville; who are having a down year.

I am not on the coaching staff but believe Kyle is #8 D right now, so he will get playing time when someone is injured. I do not know if he has red-shirt status, but am guessing he does and will ahve 4 years left after this year.
So my guess is he will get some playing time next season.

Layne was out with a pretty bad concussion, but was recently cleared by the doc to play again. They were'nt too sure if he'd be able to come back, and as of now he's not really needed. I'd like to see him play again but climie is playin pretty well.
...As for Hardwick, I heard he got into some trouble and there was a susupension, so that could be a reason he's not playing. and maybe he's just not needed so they'll redshirt him?

Enough about Minnesota, it's about time the rest on Minnesota and college hockey world to start getting on Bemidji and SCSU bandwagon!

Maybe a few of those HS teams could use Bemidji approach to kind of walk quietly and carry a big stick-maybe Brainerd for one! Sorry couldn't help myself

So what are the Beaver's chances of seeping Wayne State again? I am guessing pretty good but all good things come to an end at some point.

Without Luke Erickson's scoring, it is tougher to keep posting wins. Especially rivals within the conference.
I'll predict
Friday
BSU 4
WS 2
Saturday
BSU 5
WS 1
