Thoughts on AHA's "non-goal?" Looked like a goal to me, but thats a pretty tough call. Credit Stutz for just getting there in the first place, that kid's a gamer.

The better team won today. AHA made one bad mistake that entire game, and it cost them. I pity the fool who turns the puck over in their own zone and Gorowsky picks it up.

Interesting matchup coming up with Wayzata and Tartan.

I'll go with Wayzata, 5-2
Scheids
(A legend in his girlfriend's mind.)

Gorowsky made a move out of the corner, brought it in front of the net, had Olilla waiting on the other side, but had it himself. #33 (goalie's) stick wasn't on the ice, Goro put it 5-hole on him. Good goal. Then, and empty netter by Soph. Ryan Flynn with 2 seconds left to seal the deal.

Stutz played the best game he's ever played. Absolute stone wall in this game. Just awesome!

Congrats to the Cougars, let's see who they play.

Taylor Goal

Post by StarsFan »

It was a AHA goal. Don't kid yourselves. Taylor raised
up. Do you think he would not see his own goal from
5 ft. out? Nice that KMSP played it over and over.
I'm surprised they had the guts to show the goal.

Good luck to other teams. Centennial is going to crush.

Gorowsky walks in from the corner gets the Goalie to move and goes Five hole.

The anouncers are going on and on about the Stutz save on Taylor but they missed the next shot by AHA as the puck comes loose and gets shot out of the rink from inside of the crease.

Edited by: <A HREF=http://pub33.ezboard.com/bmnhs.showUser ... kecheck at: 3/11/04 2:18 pm

Nice words from a sore loser. Please don't blame the loss on the refs.

I saw that too pokecheck. The puck popped loose and #23 from the stars flipped it over the net and out of play from about 2 ft. away from the net. I was like OH MY GOD! How do you miss the net from there... that kids gonna be sick when he gets home and watches the tape.

I'm wondering where he was blaming the refs for the loss. I read his post 3 times and I failed to find it. Sore loser? I think not. He was just pointing out that it looked like a goal. He even said that Centennial is going to "crush" their opponents.

Where does this make him a sore loser?

Please explain yourself, or you're the one who looks like a sore winner.

I saw that 2nd shot go way over the glass, too. My brother and I were both speechless. I don't think I could lift a puck like that if I was trying to, let alone not trying to. He was less than 2 feet away, and it missed the rink completely. Unbelievable.
Scheids
(A legend in his girlfriend's mind.)

Apparently I misunderstood his post. I read it as with the AHA player celebrating, it was an obvious goal that the refs missed. I also thought he was saying that Centennial was going to get crushed, not crush whoever's next. By the way, I am not a sore winner. Just a very interested neutral observer of the entire tournament.

Edited by: <A HREF=http://pub33.ezboard.com/bmnhs.showUser ... epuck>Just Call Me Puck at: 3/11/04 2:32 pm

Wayzata up 4-0 with 4 min left in the 1st. The Tartan goalie looks very shaky as does the rest of the Tartan team especially in their own end. This game is over already, just waiting on the final score. Might be worse than yesterday's Breck 10-1 win when it's all done. Wayzata Centennial semi-final will be another great game.

5-0 Wayzata. Joey Miller scores a shorthanded goal with less than 1 min left in the 1st!

After Taylor shot that back-door pass, Stutz tried to cover the puck byt missed it. #23 for AHA picked up the puck inside the crease, flipped it over the net and out of play. Honestly... I dont know how he managed to do it. He was about 2 ft away from the goal line, directly in front of the net with no goalie.
