Chico -
You must be an offical for the district if you know so much information about this.

Re: TC Peewee All-Star Game

RE: TC District Peewee All-Star Game
Generally the highest finishing St. Paul and Mpls coaches are selected to coach a team. It then becomes a matter of deciding upon the best format to make sure the game is competitive. The St. Paul vs. Mpls format is nice, but as past history has shown us, it is not always the best game.

I am not a referee if that is what you are talking about when saying I must be an official in the district.

Re: TC Peewee All-Star Game
No-not that kind of offical. Chico must be an important one. The other officals are just refs. They aren't important.

Re: TC Peewee All-Star Game
I heard Chico is just a washed up Coach in chief in the tc DISTRICT IS THIS TRUE.

I thought that guy quit a few years ago.

Who is the new TC coach in chief?

Guys like that Johnsonprez should do it. He's all over the board with his IDEAS.

Re: TC Peewee All-Star Game
He is another fat washed up coach that would be a great idea.

Re: TC Peewee All-Star Game
HEY - isn't this game going to be a preview of the TC Peewee A teams next year.

People have been talking about getting all the best players and forming a St.Paul team and a Minneapolis team. SO, this would be pretryouts for next years team.

My kids got one more year at Irondale and I don't think I want him coached by that fat guy from Johnson.

Re: TC Peewee All-Star Game
I would not want my kids coahed by him either just beacuse he has sent over 20 players to D1 college and one to the gold medal womans team does not mean he knows what he is doing.

Edited by: <A HREF=http://p100.ezboard.com/bmnhs.showUserP ... cypalms at: 2/24/06 11:14 am

I am that fat coach at Johnson and we only want players that are willing to be challenged not players challenging.

Re: TC Peewee All-Star Game
Like Chico said above I was told that I would be the coach of the Saint Paul side but I have not gotten any information about the game as of yet. Right now I am concentrating on getting my Johnson team ready for the regionals. TC teams don't fair well and I hope we can change that. TC All-Star game for now is on hold for Highland and ourselves.

RE: TC Peewee All-Star Game
Best of luck to Johnson and Highland at regionals. You are correct, TC has not faired too well for awhile at regionals maybe that will change this year.

Re: RE: TC Peewee All-Star Game
looks like highland will take on 1 of the st cloud teams. st cloud black takes on blaine and st cloud red takes on elk river. i would figure that blaine will be first in that district and the st cloud teams will decide who is second and third. highland can skate with either one of those teams.
johnson's opponent will come from district 8 as the runner up. the playoffs in that district have followed the way they ended the regular season, the top 4 teams being in the semifinals. if this holds true then you would figure that their opponent would be dodge county. i have seen both rochester and lakeville south, they are both outstanding. eagan i think probably played over the heads during johnson's tournament. if it turns out to be eagan or dodge county i would think johnson should be in a position to wina game too. the second round game for johnson looks to be eden prairie. which isn't pretty for any team in the state.
whatever happens good luck guys.

Re: RE: TC Peewee All-Star Game
Johnson will play the loser (2nd place) of Lakeville South (Constantly ranked in the top 5 of the state) or Eagan.

Re: RE: TC Peewee All-Star Game
Looks like the game is Eagan and Johnson.

Last match up was a blowout by the Eagan team.

12-1 or something

Re: RE: TC Peewee All-Star Game
Eagan beat Johnson 7 to 1 and scored 3 goals on 4 shots. I heard people talking that the goalie for Johnson that game is there second string guy. From what I seen it probably was there 8 th string goalie he was horrible!!!!!!!!
Johnson could make this interesting.

Re: RE: TC Peewee All-Star Game
I watched the game yesterday between Lakeville South and Eagan. First I can't beleive I was charged $7.00 to watch a youth hockey game when a high school game does not cost that much. Our TC district does not charge for district play-offs. Hats off to the TC guys for thinking about people. Eagan has a very good team and they played hard against Lakeville South, #17 for Lakeville had a pure hat trick and is a very good strong player. Hopefully we can give Eagan a good game on Friday in the Regionals.
