slow feet

I was not really impressed with either team, but it was the first game. Some of the kids seemed a little nervous or confused as to what they should be doing when not in the play.

I am sure you realize that the East is always the favorite in D11 so we will have to see

According to SLP Coach's scores, it looks like D2 is up for grabs. Roseville, WBL, Mahtomedi, No St Paul and Stillwater all have a shot at the title. Mahtomedi goes in as a heavy favorite but has lost about 6 games (including scrimmages and tourney play) already this season, yet they are the only team to come close to beating EP. Injuries maybe?

TriCity - 7
SLP/Southwest - 1

I really must say, TriCity has a nice team this year. They have a couple of really good strong hockey players. SLP jumped out to a 1-0 lead but TriCity added 2 in the last 90 secs of the first period to take a 2-1 lead. From the 2nd period on, TC pretty much controlled the game.

Grand Rapids has Alexandria, Bloomington Jefferson and Hastings this weekend. Can anyone give comments on the strength of those teams? Thanks

Chaska 5 Jefferson 3,
Jags has plenty of chances and outplayed them for 2 periods, much improved over last year. Chaska not very deep but still gets chances
EP 8 AV 0
EP sounds scary. Controlled the whole play is what I was told.
Edina 4 Prior Lake 2
Not a bad showing for PL considering this is the first PW A team in Dsitrict 6. Edina clearly outplayed them, but goalie was good!

WBL vs NP

Post by ilikehockey6838 »

WBL 6
NP 2

NP was being slightly outplayed. Pulled together in 3rd period and impressed me though. Strange that it was in the 3rd period because they were only rotating 3 defense because Ambroz moved up. Are they rotating 3 D all year or is this just tell someone steps up and fills the 4th spot.

Southwest/SLP - 4
Richfield - 1

SW/SLP pretty much controlled the game. Richfield is really starting to play much better hockey though. They just finished 2nd in the Hudson Tourney in which St. Paul Johnson played in the "Hard Luck Game."
