EP was the state bantam champs 3 years ago (Edina was taken out by Mpls. Park Storm in regional play). EP is playing their best hockey of the year right now. It certainly could be a conference clash in the championship game.

Roseau vs. #2 Lakeville North...North wins because they have 3 lines that come at you. Each line can score.

Centennial vs. #3 Eden Prairie...EP wins because of their speed. Their players will beat you to the puck 4 out of 5 times.

Stillwater vs. #1 Edina...Edina wins because of their skilled payers. The talent pool is too deep.

#5 Eagan vs. #4 Duluth East...Eagan wins because they hit hard. This team likes to create panic on the ice.

It does set up a possible East- Edina matchup which would be awesome to watch.
I would say EP is a very skilled team. Section 6AA was full of highly skilled teams, but EP was clearly the best. I would love to see an EP and Edina championship!

I have a hard time conceiving of a Randolph coached East team falling into a panic on the ice. If Eagan is counting on that, then it may be a long evening.
