This is the only section final at Amsoil tonight.pipersniper12 wrote:Looks poor to me. Two section finals back to back with lots of empty maroon and gold seat open. Tomorrow Amsoil will be filled up more with only one section final.The51 wrote:is it just me, or does the attendance at the mariucci games look down this year?
The Denfeld student section actually looks very big. (As it should...has Denfeld been to State in anything since they went for hockey in 1989???) But beyond that, plenty of empty seats.

I'm at the mariucci. It was pretty full at the end of the first game for sure.
And for all those 7aa guys talking about their crowds and atomsphere...I traveled up for "semifinal Saturday" and amsoil was not even half full, and you could hear a pin drop for most of the day....not so sure what all the hype was about

Gah, this is what happens when I try to watch three games at once.pipersniper12 wrote:I referencing Mariucci tonight.karl(east) wrote:This is the only section final at Amsoil tonight.pipersniper12 wrote: Looks poor to me. Yes, attendance at Mariucci does look a bit down. The student sections seem plenty big, but the casual fans don't seem to be there.

Lourdes 6
Manakto West 1
Alex Funk had 3 or 4 goals. Lourdes top line is very good, West took the second period off and Lourdes went from a 0-0 game at the end of the first to 3-0 at the end of the second, while West managed just 3 shots. Nice crowd, good student sections and bands from both schools.
