The reality is both teams played sloppy and have some improving to do. It doesn't matter who wins section 8AA if that as far as they go.<br>Moorhead had a poor powerplay and Roseau was dominated in their own zone most of the night.<br>The refs let them play a little too much and it got clutch and grab for a while there (lots of holding the stick and late hits).<br>The stat of the night..... 3 goals on breakaways. Major defensive mental breakdowns by both clubs.<br><br>That being said, I think Moorhead showed the most potential and I look to them to improve greatly this season with only 4 seniors! I am really looking forward to the televised game against Grand Rapids this friday.<br><br>NOTE: The Fargo Forum reported there is a late push by FSN to televise the 2:30 Sat game of the Spuds vs Duluth East. That would be nice to see. <p></p><i></i>
