We aren't all Metro All Star Teams coming from the Private Hockey Academies.

Good Luck Flyers!!
just saying its a weak crappy section...but there is still one worse than section 6a so its ok.
How much does anyone want to bet that Little Falls losed two games and goes home 0-2 at the tourney????

They have a good shot at winning one game even if it is in the consolation bracket. I'm not saying it will happen but realistically if all teams were seeded Little Falls would have a very good case for the 6 seed. All you really need is a hot goalie and that Stumpf seems to have the potential even though it's easier said than done.

Having seem little falls play multiple games (including the Hermantown game) it would not surprise me at all to go out their and upset a breck or thief river falls and play that first game incredibly tough. The reason they lost to hermantown were some questionable penalties in my mind anyways. The thing with the flyers is that while stumpf gets a lot of credit, much of it deserved a good portion should go to the incredible defense in front of him. Coach couture has those guys playing a system where defense first and the offense will come. I also think there record is deceiving as they really struggled in the beginning of the year but have come on strong as of late. Concerning the feeder system after this year I predict a steep decline in little Falls play this years bantams are simply not up to snuff compared to this years juniors and seniors. Lastly concerning the JV team for the past few years due to low numbers the coaches have been recruiting kids off outside rinks to have enough for a team. In fact the JV team this year had 4 kids who have never skated a day in their life and they only had ten total kids plus a goalie.

That decline probably is two years away. They will still be pretty good next year and probably the favorite to win the section again.

Agreed forgot to put that in there the juniors are leading that team the question is who picks up the slack for Joe Hanowski and company I see big changes coming for little Falls line wise as each forward line has a senior on it and the feeder system has maybe one or two wings on it. The kid I'm watching is Jack Schulte he's an offensive defensemen for the JV squad but played in the sartell and Morris benson game with Alex Nelson and august Maciej and looked pretty comfortable doing it

Nelson should and hopefully will at some point come off the 3rd line to 2nd at some point at the X. not saying right away, but competition is gonna be tougher so LF will prolly roll two lines at sometime down there. i know he is there to help have 3 balanced lines but it takes away a bit of ice time. he has an excellent shot and good hockey sense. NO WAY IS HE A THIRD LINER NEXT YEAR

Disagree about Nelson moving up while at state, these lines have been together since game 6 or so after that they started winning. Plus couture loves to role out three lines to keep everyone fresh, nelly has a great shot, however he takes a lot of stupid penalties and tries to do too much by himself.
