I was always on the bandwagon, they are the team i have supported all year, yes at the start of the year i thought Giles made a couple of cuts that were more based on attitude then skills with some of the seniors but i have not bad mouthed giles, i think he is a great coach, i attended many of his camps as a kid. what my point was at the start of the year is that some of the kids on the JGA team like Dietzler should be on the team over players like Spicola who rarely sees the ice yes most of the JGA kids are not that good and should have been cut but 2 or 3 of the JGA kids could have made a difference and the one other thing that bothered me was that The back up goalie Beaupre only made it because his dad is assistant coach but i don't blame Giles for having him on the team cause frankly it would be hard to cut the assistant coaches kid. But, if you have seen my posts on this forum throughout the year you can clearly see the team i root for is Edina

Maybe I had you confused with BAFATA :)

I just find it humorous that people rip Giles. I have heard nothing but good things about the man as a coach and more important as a person. Think how difficult of a position he is in to cut 40 kids or so from the powerhouse Edina. Thats 40 kids that could probably make varsity teams in most communities and 40 sets of parents that think their kid is the next Anders Lee, Budish, Dan Carlson, etc...I think he does a fairly good job given the pressure and stress of coaching that team. He seems to put a solid hockey group together year in and year out. Yet people continue to rip him.

And those that rip Nanne have no idea what a good hockey player is all about. I have seen him play 4-5 times this season and every time he works hard. I will take him centering the 4th line on the Gophers as a freshman any day of the week.

ya i think thats what you did because that name sounds familiar and i agree with you 100% including the Nanne thing. he is a tremendous worker on a line that without him would be pretty terrible, he is with the only senior who if he was not captain many think he would have been cut too and then also a 10th grader who has very few points this year. but he is on that line to try to give Edina 3 balanced lines, i have no doubt if Nanne was on the line with Hurley and Malmquist people would be saying totally different things about him as all 3 of them would have produced points a ton of points
