No, my point was that giving up 3 goals on 13 shots is not a great ratio. Someone else PM'd me about this and explained that it probably had to do with the freshman goaltender's nerves, as he let in 2 of the first 3 shots.HappyHockeyFan wrote:"though the shot count suggests they have some work to do on defense"
This quote appears in your commentary regarding Eagan, not sure if you were referring to Eagan or LVS but it seems like it was Eagan. If it was I think you may have confused the shot counts, Eagan had 38 LVs had 13. Just pointing out a possible error on your part.
Impressive win by Prior Lake last night--as I said at the beginning of the season, they'll be a dangerous team. I wonder what happened to them in that opening 7-3 loss to Woodbury.
Prior Lake vs. Wayzata
I thought PL was a very good team. Hustled and physical. Shots were 2-1 for Wayzata but PL played their game well. PL goalie had good game. Good OT win for them.

Same can be said about Burnsville and their 7 - 3 opening loss to Minnetonka, although Tonka is much better than Woodbury. Some teams just come out of the gate slow and take a few games to start hitting stride. Thats why ranking teams the first 3 weeks is so difficult.karl(east) wrote:No, my point was that giving up 3 goals on 13 shots is not a great ratio.
