Just kidding...we're returning 3 players from our 12A, will be a young group. The expectations will be "who knows". One thing is for certain, goaltending, defense, and one girl that can score goes a long ways at this age. Good luck getting your teams together, see you kids at the rink shortly...

Anyone know of how any of the other East teams at 12A will look now that teams are getting set??

If they are anything like last year, Big Red should play up a division...

Edina/Centennial wasn't as close as the score might indicate.

Centennial is only a shell of its former self. They've got a megalomaniac coach and a lot of young players. Implosion is imminent.

Agreed, our Centennial team is not the same team as it was last year. As previously stated, we only have 3 returning skaters. Last year's coach did not care about future success and took too many "friends'" kids on the team. So do the math...any first grader can figure out that there will be some growing pains up front. But our "megalomaniac coach" has proven time and again to be a winning coach. We'll see in February who has imploded or not.

Uh-oh! I sense a little discontent among the Centennial folks. It's either that or somebody doesn't like Centennial and their coach. Of course, it could be jealousy too?
Despite the conflict, Centennial will still be a team to watch out for this season. It's still early, but not sure if they have enough firepower to beat Edina in the end.

Firepower is certainly lacking. Gonna be a lot of pressure on the goalie this year. Luckily, she's one of the best around and has last year's OT State finale to look to for big game toughness.

The Duluth Icebreaker should be another great tournament this year. Nine of the ten teams currently ranked in the top 10 by Let's Play Hockey are in this tournament. Only Minnetonka is not playing in Duluth. It should be some great hockey!
