And this is HS hockey with a very limited schedule. Coaches don't have the time, energy, or interest to be rating all the players on their opponent's teams. So they do it the way they do it and it makes perfect sense. It isn't broken so there's no need to fix it.
Huh? In Mariucci Conference we were told that the coaches may only vote for players from other teams in the conference and are not allowed to vote for their own players....... So based on this conversation, i assume that is not the way most conferences do it?????
