Same "OLD" (Mayasich, Cotreono) intermission stories year after year. They keep repeating them game after game after game. Go back to where they profiled the roots of the playing teams schools, highlighlights of sectional games etc. Lou Nanne is a legend, but needs to move on and be replaced by Darby/Lapanta. Don't get me wrong there is nothing negative about Nanne the announcing just needs to be refreshened. Last but not least how about adding the "Ice Girls" between officials timeouts
Oh that's right, forgot. Now we get to hear him repeat himself on how grateful he is to announce his grandson's game . That his other grandson plays for Minnetonka and lost to the #1 seed of the tournament in section play and so on Put the favoritism aside and announce the game with all due respect. On another note will we see Ali Lucia doing some sideline reporting?
Hopefully they get it right this year... The Intro last year was terrible, and the intermissions were repetitive and boring.. No more Messier Helmet talk either please, I got enough of that for a lifetime
WE know all about the 40s, 50s, 60s etc... Time to talk 80s, 90s..... Keep it in the generation some of us were actually born..
Boy was that a good intermission story during the 1st intermission of the class "A" game. Who the heck were the Bloomington Bears??????
And who cares??? BORING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The rediculous procedure you have to endure to buy tickets:
If your team wins its QF game, you return to your hotel for the nite, get up & drive downtown the next AM, pay for parking, stand in line for 2 hrs to buy tickets for that nite, return to your hotel to kill some time. In the evening, drive back downtown, pay for parking & attend the game. If your team advances, you go thru the same thing again.
Last time we went to the TC for the basketball tourney:
If your team won its QF game, as soon as that game ended, you could buy tickets for the SF game. Don't know if they still do it that way, but that was the way to go !
