Duluth East 2
Elk River 1

After 2

No shot count, but it's in the neighborhood of 40-15. ER did have some nice chances towards the end of the period, though.

How's the atmosphere in Duluth today? I would LOVE to go to the 7AA Semi - Saturday some time! Keep the scores coming - I'm very interested in the Grand Rapids - C-E-C game.

It was brutal. Even if your an East fan you would have to say no energy. East had about 15 kids in their student section. Karl, it would have been a great place to study for your fInals.

Great building, bad energy.

The only person I could hear was Sarsland

Randolph made a beautiful pass to himself between his legs towards the end of the game

:x I suspected that--I could hear Sarsland loud and clear on the radio feed.

Maybe Hounds fans will wake up for a section final against another northern team? Maybe??

Virginia and Marshall are headed to OT.
Still 9 seconds of PP time for Virginia.
The refs sure seem to be favoring Virginia, I think the penalties are now 5-1 and the shots are pretty even. There was some good old fashioned goalie bowling that almost led to a GWG with ten seconds left, no call.
