SSP/Eagan in the South St Paul tournament should be a great game...and probably SSP's first game where they're tested :(

Just remember....

They are not there yet, but, by the end of the year, East Grand Forks will be the top team in 8A and will be a top ten team in the state.

I really don't see them even getting past TR or Warroad

OK....then...

2nd........
I would love to see a Lake of the Woods/East Grand Forks 8A Final.
That is just not going to happen. I think we both know it will probably be TRF and Warroad in the Section 8A final with TRF prevailing.

I want to see Hibbing in the Top Ten after this most excellent weekend. Wins over both Roseau and Warroad. Of course, Roseau outshot them 53-21, but their goalie Tyler Rajkovich kept them in the game, stopping 46 shots. Adam Johnson had 3 goals and 3 assists in the Roseau game.

Reality check... Getting outshot by that margin by any team makes it pretty tough to consider a team a top ten team, regardless of the score. Its pretty obvious that the Roseau goaltender had a tough first period... and Rajkovich did give up 7 goals and is probably still the #2 goaltender for Hibbing. Nice W for Hibbing, but they've been pretty fortunate to stay close with Minnetonka and win this one. Over time, this trend won't continue if they get outshot and outplayed like that.
