Hibbing wins! 3-2 OT goal. Both teams played great. One of the best games tromp has ever had in my opinion. Both teams had goals waved off. Great game for the jackets.

This should give Hibbing the #2 seed. Should look like this

1-Virgina
2-Hibbing
3-Int Falls
4-Marshall
5-Central

I think the Falls will still have the number 2 seed
But I suppose it doesn't really matter because Hibbing will still be playing the Falls

What argument does Falls have to get seeded above Hibbing? You are right though, does not matter other than last change and jersey color.

Hibbing will get second. A lost and a win. Falls: lost and a tie.

Hibbing dominated that game. Hibbing had a goal called off. Virginias second goal was a garbage goal.

Great game to watch.

I wouldn't say hibbing completely dominated. Tromp was great and myhre was shaky in the first but then settled down. Hibbing will end up 2 or 3 and I think it will be two. Either way they will face broncoville on semifinal Saturday. Great game tonight by Hibbing, this is a huge confidence boost for them.

It should be a huge confidence boost for tromp, he has really rebounded nicely after his bad mid-season games.

That made no sense, Hibbing did not dominate the game, they were down 2-1 for almost the whole 3rd period. A goal is a goal. I'll be so happy to see the Falls take out Hibbing this year. Sweet revenge!

Especially since its not at the Hibbing Mem Arena. :)

People put too much emphasis on their hometown goalies. They are only as good as the players in front of them who help them out. If Hibbing wants to keep on winning everyone has to do their job, no mental lapses.

The Virginia player jumped on the puck and threw it into the hibbing zone. That's a penalty. Virginia had just as many pp's as Hibbing if not more. The reffing was fine. I don't think hitler stache is a good red but last night I thought they did a decent job.

And the seeding is as expected. Really no surprises there.

so hibbing wins and that makes it a bad game?? pretty much all of virginia shots came on the power play. not mentioning how virginia started the overtime on the power play. hibbing never got behind in the shot column either. and you ifalls people, what makes you guys think this year will be different?

Thats what you said last year. You also though you guys were good because you TIED VIRGINIA at your home ice. Well we beat them on our home ice. So keep thinking its going to be a win and see how far your team goes....your pretty cocky!

Well of course it wasn't because you guys lost. It was close. What would you call a good game?

It seems like hibbing is one of the only teams that DOESNT have home ref advantage. It usually seems as though hibbing refs go out of their way to call stuff against hibbing just to show they dont play favorites. So anyone who says the refs make calls in hibbing's favor is wrong. Period.

everyone i talked to along the boards said the goal that got called off was a goal. it was over the line when the virginia player pulled it out.
