He didn't play against you until the third. Not like you have any experience. It's not like you have sniped him.Gut22 wrote:weak glove sidePowerForward25 wrote:I second that. Ness had a 27 shot shutout at Stillwater tonight. Pinnella played well too giving up 3 goals on 43 shots.
A real sleeper is Zak Swenson from Hutchinson. He carried the Tigers through the playoffs last year and was outstanding in the state tournament against some very tough competition. He has carried the Tigers so far this year as well. The Tigers don't get a lot of press so just keep watching his numbers compared to the rest of goalies in the state and see how things shake out. If someone would give him a chance after HS they will find a diamond in the rough.

Just like every other mediocre or less' hockey team's goalie. No one is ever gonna give them a chance. People only look at goalies from top notch hockey programs. Politics. It's sad really, cuz i've seen Zac play. Pretty talented kid.Tigers95 wrote:A real sleeper is Zak Swenson from Hutchinson. Best Underated HS Goalie
I agree with the Zac Swenson choice. I saw that kid play last year in the Consolation game against Lourdes and he was amazing. Hutch lost 3-1 but he gave his team a chance to win. He squares to the puck extremely well and moves well for a big tender! Truely a sleeper. This year he is right up there with all the other tenders listed with the state's best.

Totally agree with you on this one. He is super overshadowed by his brother and consistently makes key saves every game.MrBoDangles wrote:Andy Benik of St Francis. Whatever D-1 team ends up with this kid will have a gem. Will probably have to go the USHL route to get noticed though.

Aaron Dooley from Austin, about 80-100 shots per game, without him Austin would be losing by about 20 every game to jv teams

The shot count on Dooley is rigged. The shot counters are extremely generious in that.
that's not the only game he gets that many shots on goal, he had PLENTY of games last year with that many, i believe he even broke the state record on saves and shots on goal, maybe that was a rumor

the shot clock there in austin is very touchy... anything close to the net is two shots... technically speaking... he is not a good goalie.... a major flopper... looks like a fish out of water.dontmesswiththebest wrote:Aaron Dooley from Austin, about 80-100 shots per game, without him Austin would be losing by about 20 every game to jv teams
