Attended the game as well and couldn't agree more with your assessment. SSP had a couple of odd man rushes where the MHT goalie made a couple great saves.

#14 was by far the best player on the ice, reminds me of #10 currently playing for the Gophers as far as size, speed and stickhandling.

Mahtomedi matches up well STA, should have a good match up Friday night.

That was a great hockey game. Mahtomedi's student section made it a great atmosphere. I didn't get there till the second period but it was still very much worth the money! And i also agree, Ben Marshall was the best player out there made a HUGE difference. Friday should be just as exciting but Mahtomedi needs to bring their A game
