Well, I got to say, it was a great game. I'm happy I went (since this was only my second Marshall game this year). It's harder's not living around here anymore. But anyway, got to say I was shocked. I thought the Hunters would want this game more, but Marshall had the energy. With the exception of a few minutes early in the second, it was all Marshall. There was definently some trash talking like 27 on DM, and 10 and 21 on Denfeld. Got to say I was disappointed with 14 on DM. Sat there whining all game to the refs, which all started after they didn't call his goal. He yelled at the refs for that and the too man men on the ice calls. I love class, and he had a temper. I guess this was Mausolf's first game back. Is that true? He looked pretty good.

Again Seems the hunters ran out of gas in the third. Another close game and another loss for the hunters. All year they have lost the close games. Hope there luck changes against the hawks next tuesday night. It was a great game to watch tonight. Marshall should do well come playoffs.

I couldnt make it to the game tonight so I dont know exactly what went on but I have talked to a few people with connections to the Denfeld and I guess they have the flu bug going around their team. That could be a reason they were gassed.

How was the tempo of this game before denfeld looked gassed? Did the Toppers outskate them? Good hockey?

i also noticed 23 for dm was involved in a little backbiting. dm has a cheap team this year, like evey year, but i gotta root for em
