I was very impressed with Shaughnessy. I think they might bet beat up against Edina but it will only make them better. This team is going to be very dangerous at the end of the year.

Losing Barnes and Hendrickson hurts.

They'll improve as the season goes on.

Hill congrats on the first win of the season! keep er going. I really though Cotroneo played a fine game he is gonna be one of there top d all year only a sophomore i might add. Seems to me as they dont even need Al Kelly who is still out for the next two games

Funny listening to the uninformed Kevin Gorg. Stating he was so impressed at how well Zepeda, Kohls and Widing played together and that it is the first time they are a line combo. Those 3 along with Kelly and JJ have been on the 91 Blades team since squirts. They know each other very well. This team is fast.

I will admit they looked like they are better prepared for the season then Burnsville was. My prediction is they walk through the Classic Suburban Conference, break all kinds of scoring records but they suffer some what of a hangover effect like Roseau did last year where the easy schedule and hype will go to there heads. They come into the Sectionals and loose to WBL or maybe even someone else.

Still holding court on the young netminder Shaunnessy, Burnsville didn't pose much of a threat with tough scoring chances. Most shots were right in the bread basket. He did show poise being his first Varsity game and the TV attention.

With these guys gone, maybe Zach May should keep his yapper closed for more than 30 seconds and focus on actually doing something on the ice.

It is early in the season and they are a young team. No one has a harder first 3 games then Burnsville and if you talked to most of the players they weren't expecting to dominate these teams. They just want to do their best to compete and try to learn so they can be better by the end of the season. Last night they saw how far they have to go to compete at the highest level.

Looks to me like Burnsville is just way too young.

Already giving up on the hometown?

Thats disappointing.
I'd say he's a realist. I'm thinking 8-0 Pioneers especially after all the players B'ville lost.
Well, I was close. This was total and complete domination from another strong Hill-Murray squad. Look for the Pioneers to be tested next week against Edina who even without Budish has more talent than any other team in the state those kids are good.

Thanks. I've got Pioneer Pride but I don't wear Green Shaded glasses. We'll always have good talent but I have seen the Edina kids since PW and they've been phenomenal all along. I've been waiting to see them play on the big stage for 6 years. Wish I could be at the game. On the other hand a game in December doesn't mean a darn thing if you can't beat White Bear in March!
